In September, two short promotional videos were released for the single "Discotech". In October, a full video featuring live footage was released for the single, and on November 21, 2006, the Young Love EP was released on iTunes, and featured "Discotech" a new song, "Tragedy" and two remixes. In December, Young Love played several shows with British MC Lady Sovereign.
In early January 2007, Billboard listed Young Love as one of "2007's Best Bets" for the year, and described their album as "...the kind of pop that we've been missing: melodic, catchy, smart and as young and in love-with the ubiquitous 'she'-as Romeo...". On January 3, 2007, MTV premiered the video for the band's newest single, "Find A New Way". In addition, the single will serve as the theme song for the network's new Jennifer Lopez-produced reality series, DanceLife, which premiered January 15, 2007.
January 30, 2007 was the official release of Young Love's full-length debut, Too Young to Fight It. The album includes both "Discotech" and "Tragedy" along with nine more original songs. In February, the band will start a tour, playing shows with several different acts including Foreign Islands, Morors Eros, and Federalist.
Their sophomore album titled "One of Us" is due out on April 28th, 2009.
Find A New Way
Young Love Lyrics

We're living so hard you might not make it through tonight
Follow the bright lights
They might change you
If you get lost along the way, it's all right
[Chorus]
We'll find another way to dance
If you get the chance
You must dance, dance, dance
You must dance, dance, dance
If you get caught out in the storm, it's all right
You're livin' so hard you can't stay dry when you're out tonight
Stare at the bright lights
They might blind you
Look at them too long and you might see it's all right
[Chorus]
Be what you believe
Stand up, break free
Be what you believe
Bright lights can you see
Bright lights can you see
[Chorus]
The lyrics of "Find a New Way" by Young Love take the listener on a hard-living journey through the city, offering advice to get through it all without letting the darkness overwhelm you. The first verse sets the tone by acknowledging the pain and struggle that comes with living a fast-paced life. The bright lights of the city become a beacon to follow, despite the risks. The chorus repeats the message that dancing is a way to temporarily escape from the hardships of life.
The second verse doubles down on the difficult nature of this lifestyle, as well as the potential for danger. Yet, staring at the bright lights can offer a kind of solace, even if that light can blind you. The repetition of "it's all right" throughout the song is a clear indication that even though the going can get tough, it's necessary to push through it all.
The song's closing lines urge the listener to "be what you believe" as the only way to truly break free. The final appeal to the chorus gives the listener a way to make a temporary escape through dance.
Overall, "Find a New Way" is an anthem for the hard-working and the lost, who are searching for a way to make it through the storm that is the city.
