Ok, seeing a lot of comments, pardoning my expression, they show how uninformed and stupid this world has turned out over the years.
First, Steve Cutts, aka the boomer of the video, is a 25 year old animator which his styles centers around animations from the 20s, portraying most of modern problems in a very exaggerated way, or in my opinion, a very direct form. Dystopian style if you will.
Lots of people here complaining about this guy being a boomer and over exaggerated have never seen a cartoon in their life where everything is supposed to be exaggerated.

Second, the overemphasized bits of society portrayed here are very true in a way, I've seen youtube videos of people recording the suicide of a guy where the recorders where saying things like "what are you waiting for", or people just amazed by the "spectacle" they are seeing. IMHO the first thing a group of people will do when they see a situation in the street, is pickup their phone and start recording, instead of helping. I've seen people fighting on the streets and no one willing to help them stop, just sitting there recording hoping that their video gets millions of view in social media, while destroying the life of the guys fighting.

Finally the @ part represents me, I've lived through tough anxiety in the span of this quarantine since we've been stuck at our computers at our homes. Millions of people on the internet waiting there for someone (or me) to make a small mistake that will be forever recorded and sustained across the time on the internet is one of my biggest fears, while a majority entertains from this, the ones who were exposed will suffer most of their lifetime. Im really feeling like a live in a digital cell, chained by the social prejudgements that are so prominent in the internet.

I don't hate technology and phones (Im doing an electrical engineering major), is just that this lifestyle is really not healthy to ourselves, our brains can't manage the amount of data we process everyday, Im just hoping that the people here understands the point of this video, which is yelling at us to help us, yet we don't listen. There is a reason why some creator of this pieces of technology don't use them.

What does it mean?
OMG u can't get a simple message like this? It's not about technology is bad, it's about being obsessed and completely dependent of it, like drugs. Do you know what is dopamine?
