Young M.C.'s song "Bust a Move" is about the difficulties that men face in approaching and attracting women. The song's first verse describes a situation where a man is too nervous to talk to a woman he finds attractive. The second verse talks about the search for love, and the frustration that comes with always finding the wrong people. The third verse describes the challenges of money and materialism when it comes to attracting women, and the fourth verse tells the story of a man attending a wedding with hopes of attracting someone but running into several obstacles.
The chorus is about taking action and busting a move. It encourages men to go out and dance, make jokes, and be confident in themselves. The song is full of clever wordplay, humor, and references to popular culture. Overall, "Bust a Move" is a catchy, fun song that captures the spirit of the late 80s and early 90s hip hop scene.

Thanks to corporate American advertising knowing how catchy and harmless this song is, yes I'm watching this in '23. I can't even remember what commercial I recently heard this in. Anyway, I was a 90s kid and only really caught the hip hop bug about 1993-1994.
