Thug was born amongst the masses eliminating any doubt that he wouldnโt be special. The second youngest child of 11 children developed a skill for standing out amongst many, early. Young Thug moved to Jonesboro, an impoverished suburb of Georgia where his lifestyle was engrossed by the crime, drug addiction and violence that surrounded him. It was there that he developed an insatiable appetite to succeed his current situation. After discovering and acknowledging his talent and creativity for music in 2010, Thug started a new hustle that would soon mature as one of the most promising music careers in the South. He also founded the record label YSL ( Young Stoner/Slatt Life) in 2010.
Eyeballing the throne of Hip hop royalty, Young Thug began to create a sound and style that would inevitably place him on top. Young Thugโs catchy verses and raw lyrical talent distinguished noise from art, clearly being the latter his creations are the best that remain of Southern hip hop. He is the embodiment of the evolution of Southern hip-hop. Young Thug is the representative for a generation that doesn't see hip-hop as a hobby but a lifestyle. Keeping true to himself, his art, and his home Young Thug will stand alone as the one true savior of the Southern movement.

I'm fresh as fuck, I tell that bitch I should've came in a hearse
I put Chanel on her ears, and on her neck, and her purse
I'm number one, my birthday should've been January the first
I got diamonds from my toes up to my top
I got pink toes running 'round the house
I thank God, I understand the way it go
She a damn crew hopper XO
I told my mama we ain't going broke 'cause we done been there before
Sleep on the floor until my arm hurt, now we dealing too long
We at the top right now, we came so far from the bottom
Now we ballin' Harlem Globetrotter, we ain't boring nobody

I put Chanel on her ears, and on her neck, and her purse
I'm number one, my birthday should've been January the first
I got diamonds from my toes up to my top
I got pink toes running 'round the house
I thank God, I understand the way it go
She a damn crew hopper XO
High speed chasing in that Lamborghini Turbo S
How come these niggas tryna tell me that they been fresh?
I got money tied up in Kidland, try not to let bygones be bygones and
Thinkin' I'ma lick it chopping off your tongue
Get over and na na na na
I can't seem to get over the sound of guns (brrt)
I'm a drug addict, I know I got dead lungs
I pop baddies, my diamonds black, Akon
I can't get over these hoes, I'm my mama's son
I keep it drastic, she can only stay or run
Fresh as a casket but YSL look alive
If I get mad, I promise they all done
I told the boy to behave, he a small guy
Brown diamonds chillin' no fries, couple green diamond apple no pies
I'm draining and straining my voice until I get it right
This money control us, yeah, one of us will pick a fight
I told all the ops every time I see 'em it's on sight
I caught your lil lady down bad and ride her like a bike
No cap, uh huh, no cap (hey)
I'm fresh as fuck, I tell that bitch I should've came in a hearse
I put Chanel on her ears, and on her neck, and her purse
I'm number one, my birthday should've been January the first
I got diamonds from my toes up to my top
I got pink toes running 'round the house
I thank God, I understand the way it go
She a damn crew hopper XO
The song "Feel It" by Young Thug is a trap song where the rapper is talking about wanting to know how someone is feeling. Throughout the song, Thugger repeats the phrase "how you feel lil' one?", and asks the listener to tell him how they are doing. He takes on a persona of a caring friend, almost acting like a doctor trying to diagnose what is going on with his friend. He compares his syrup collection to Uncle Phil (from the TV show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"), and mentions how he is screwed to the max. Thug also mentions a girl who is working on her six-pack, and who gets on top of him and works him. The song finishes off with Thugger talking about banging and killing, emphasizing his gang affiliation.
The song seems to be about checking in with a friend and wanting to know how they are doing. Thugger wants his friend to open up and tell him how they feel so he can help. He even compares himself to a doctor, showing that he takes the role of caretaker seriously. However, this caring persona is quickly juxtaposed with Thugger's gang talk, where he talks about banging and killing. This duality shows that Thugger is more complex than just being a rapper who only talks about violence.
Overall, the lyrics of "Feel It" showcase Young Thug's versatility as a rapper, with his caring side shining through along with his gang affiliation. The repetition of "how you feel lil' one?" shows that Thugger wants to connect with his fans and check in on them, almost like a friend or therapist.
