Yubin made her debut as a new member of the Wonder Girls on September 7, 2007 with the song "Tell me". Yubin was introduced as the main rapper of the group replacing Hyuna.
On August 17, 2015, Yubin was confirmed to join Unpretty Rapstar's second season. Her popularity exploded and as a consequence, her makeup and hairstyle became popular in South Korea.
On January 26, 2017, it was announced that Wonder Girls were to disband after their contracts had expired. Yubin was one of two members who chose to remain with JYP Entertainment as solo artists and renewed her contract. The group released their final single, Draw Me, on February 10.
In 2018, Yubin announced details about her upcoming solo single on May 23 through a teaser poster. The announcement includes the text "City Woman", and reveals that her first single will be released on June 5 at 6 p.m. KST.

Is anyone else enjoying and absolutely LOVING the pace of these two? Not rushed within 2-4 episodes? I’m on episode 10 and I find myself romanticizing the both of them and what is going through their minds.
Does anyone else miss that sometimes not so familiar feeling? The chase? Getting to know someone without confessing so early, but being patient and finding the right time.
That was my last relationship. We met, we hit it off, we moved past being friends... we didn’t learn each other, our dislikes, our flaws, our grumpiness in the morning...
Last month, she said let’s be friends because we skipped that part. Both of us did, but we can’t change the past...
Instead of trying to be friends, we’ve decided to be strangers unknowingly that was the outcome.

Started watching Korean dramas few months ago, now I don't watch anything else. The chemistry, story, execution is something that not even Hollywood can achieve. It all feels so real, that I smile with them.. I feel like crying when they are crying. Chocolate is one of the most spectacular series ever made. And this song.... Has my heart.. Although I don't understand the lyrics but it just touches my heart everytime I listen to it. Lots of love from India
