It's pretty amazing that many people come back to this every year, to remember a character and a game and how much they gained from them both.

That said, how much is there really left to say...? I suppose it doesn't matter. That's not why people come here, to provide new insight about the game in any way. It's to simply celebrate that which has become a big part of their life, whether it be as their favourite game, character, or perhaps even something more...I think I can relate in that aspect.

I played this game for the first time during the summer of 2022 and it basically WAS my summer. For almost the entire length of the holidays in-between educational years this game kept me company through what would have otherwise probably been a much quieter and lonelier time for me, and I'm super grateful for that. My enjoyment of it doesn't end there though...

The characters...the music...the gameplay that can get kinda tedious after a while if you're not careful 😅 I truly adore all of it despite it's flaws. Makoto Yuki especially, is a character I think I see a lot of myself in and so coming back to this video, on 3/5, seems like a perfect time to remember everything that this game and this character gave me, and pay my respects to him.

Rest In Peace Makoto, you are sorely missed throughout the rest of this series, and above all else...thank you, for all the joy, tears and lessons about myself that you and your friends gave me. I'll cherish those memories of you all for the rest of my life.

Memento Mori everyone. This was my first time paying my respects since I played P3 for the first time, so apologies for the long ramble but thank you to anyone who took the time to read it. I see you, and I appreciate you :)

If our bonds define part of what we are, then our memories define what we were.

Or rather, "how" we were.

Shyer, clumsier...

Lonelier.

Yet somehow, every year we manage to get... stronger.

As time goes by, there are memories that we never want to forget.

For it is the memories we make that define who we are, and the impact we have on others...

That lives on long after we're gone.

@@irvingromero3963 Thanks, man. I'm still struggling on life and trying to pick up the pieces as it's a hot mess now... My only wish is that I could become someone who he can be proud of since on his deathbed, he never told me and only ever told my sister and gave her his blessing and that made me insecure. I know he probably didn't mean any ill will, but it has always been eating my mind and living rent-free in my head... What if I was not good enough? Was I a disappointment? It's honestly scary and I can't ask him why.

I just wish I did better as a child and not be a disappointment on his last years...

I recently finished P3P, and while I won’t say it has the best gameplay (that goes to P5R) I found it’s story extremely powerful and moving, and this song moved me to tears.

This is it. This is my first time being able to celebrate P3 day with everyone; I just finished the game in late February. I started last November (the 20th?), and just in a few short months, it became one of my favorite games ever. Very few things can compare to this amazing journey. I laughed, cried, smiled, even screamed a bit. I'll never forget my time at Tatsumi Port Island, and can't wait until whenever I decide to play next. This game is truly a masterpiece.

Im pretty Sure it will be in there. Not only keep they the Songs somewhere in the Game to listen. But maybe we will get a new Ending a Happy One for Example and when you play the Original End you get this Song and for the New Ending a new One. I know a happy End May be not good for Persona 3 but it only has 2 Endings while Persona 4 and 5 have so many. And honestly Makoto and Co deserve a happy End. You can play the normal Ending if you want to like in Persona 4 or 5 trough your Decisions.

This song is the true heart of persona 3. The game may be edgy or sad sometimes, but at this moment, it all comes together. The game isn’t about not fearing death, but rather enjoying life to the fullest and spending time with the ones you love so that you don’t have to. Even as you die in the arms (and thighs) of the ones you love, it still is one of the happiest (and saddest at the same time) moments in the game, because the player character has no regrets, and is happy.

As I keep coming back to this every year, I'm a different person. I reflect on different things, I have all brand new experiences, but one constant in my life is that Persona 3 was THE GAME that really helped me look at life and death with less dread than I did when I was a depressed teenager playing this game in April 2019. It helped me kickstart the actions I needed to take to change my life for the better. I truly believe this game came to me at the perfect time in my life and blessed me. It's only respectful for me to come back every March 5th and try to pour some miniscule amount of that positive energy back into the universe that was given to me. I've seen a lot of comments about how this game changed someone's life, I don't have any stories about overcoming death or anything like that, but if I could say how this game changed my life, I'd say it was because I accepted death so much easily. I didn't see any importance in the death of someone close to me or felt empathy for it, but after that I realized how sad death can be. I understood that I shouldn't say things like "I want to die" carelessly or jokingly. This game is really amazing

shiinotic I'll be honest here, Igor has seen the world cut it close to an end 3 times, the fourth time isn't really all that different, it gets pretty boring for him, after all, besides, he has to deal with 2 women in that game, in a very small limo, he must really have to try his best to control his nerves...
