1) Yunalis binti Mat Zara'ai (born 14 November 1986 in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia), professionally known as Yuna, is an acoustic/alternative/pop singer-songwriter originating from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is now based in Kuala Lumpur and Los Angeles, US. She began making a mark for herself in the local independent scene in 2007, before releasing her demo in February 2008. Her debut EP, Yuna EP, was released in October 2008. Her debut album was finally released in July 2010, titled Decorate.
Yuna has been cementing herself in the local scene with complementary comparisons to the likes of Norah Jones and Rachael Yamagata. Her influences include Fiona Apple, Feist, Lykke Li, Sia, Bob Dylan and The Cardigans. Yuna describes her music as "a cross between Mary Poppins and Coldplay".
One of the first few people who expressed interest in her music was Farhan Fadzlishah aka Pa'an (Telephony Delivery), who later became her supporting guitarist. Along the way, Efry Arwis (Lightcraft) helped her with the bass while Adib handled the drums. Adil Ali (Seven Collar T-shirt) replaced Adib after the latter quit to concentrate on his drumming role in Oh Chentaku.
Yuna was eventually discovered in the US by the Indie-Pop record label and management company. They flew out to Malaysia to convince her to sign with them and then proceeded to get her a deal with Fader Label, a record label based in New York, in February 2011. She released her debut US EP, Decorate - EP, in the United States in March the same year. In February 2012, Yuna released her second Malaysian full-length album, Terukir Di Bintang. Her self-titled US full-length album, Yuna, was released on April 24, 2012.

Coffee
Yuna Lyrics

Just sipping coffee and nothing to look forward to
Savoring my solitude
And no one will ever know you the way I do
In high definition I’m dreaming of you
With my disposition I’m losing my cool
With my everything I’d give anything to be with you
And I will try my best to let it subside
I’m letting go without taking any part of
Something what my heart truly wants
And no one will ever see you the way my eyes do
In high definition I’m dreaming of you
With my disposition I’m losing my cool
With my everything I’d give anything to be with you
In high definition I’m dreaming of you
With my disposition I’m losing my cool
With my everything I’d give anything to be with you
In Yuna's song "Coffee," the lyrics express the feelings of a person who chooses to stay inside instead of going out, content with simply sipping coffee and enjoying their solitude. They seem to be thinking of someone they long to be with, as they dream of this person in high definition and can't help but lose their cool at the mere thought of them. The lyrics reveal the depth of their feelings, as the person notes that they know this individual better than anyone else ever could. Even as they try to let go of these emotions and not give in to what their heart truly wants, they can't help but yearn to be with this person and would give anything for the chance to do so.
One possible interpretation of these lyrics may be that the person is struggling with their feelings towards someone who is perhaps unattainable in some way. They may be trying to convince themselves that they can be happy alone and that their daydreams and longing for this person are futile. However, despite their efforts, they find themselves unable to fully let go of these emotions and continue to dream of this person in vivid detail. The lyrics convey a sense of bittersweetness, as the person seems resigned to the fact that they may never be with this individual, but still can't help but hold onto their feelings.
Overall, Yuna's "Coffee" is a beautifully written and emotive song that captures the universal experience of longing for someone or something that may be out of reach. With its dreamy, introspective tone and evocative lyrics, it is a poignant reminder of the power of our emotions and the depth of our desires.
