1) Yunalis binti Mat Zara'ai (born 14 November 1986 in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia), professionally known as Yuna, is an acoustic/alternative/pop singer-songwriter originating from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is now based in Kuala Lumpur and Los Angeles, US. She began making a mark for herself in the local independent scene in 2007, before releasing her demo in February 2008. Her debut EP, Yuna EP, was released in October 2008. Her debut album was finally released in July 2010, titled Decorate.
Yuna has been cementing herself in the local scene with complementary comparisons to the likes of Norah Jones and Rachael Yamagata. Her influences include Fiona Apple, Feist, Lykke Li, Sia, Bob Dylan and The Cardigans. Yuna describes her music as "a cross between Mary Poppins and Coldplay".
One of the first few people who expressed interest in her music was Farhan Fadzlishah aka Pa'an (Telephony Delivery), who later became her supporting guitarist. Along the way, Efry Arwis (Lightcraft) helped her with the bass while Adib handled the drums. Adil Ali (Seven Collar T-shirt) replaced Adib after the latter quit to concentrate on his drumming role in Oh Chentaku.
Yuna was eventually discovered in the US by the Indie-Pop record label and management company. They flew out to Malaysia to convince her to sign with them and then proceeded to get her a deal with Fader Label, a record label based in New York, in February 2011. She released her debut US EP, Decorate - EP, in the United States in March the same year. In February 2012, Yuna released her second Malaysian full-length album, Terukir Di Bintang. Her self-titled US full-length album, Yuna, was released on April 24, 2012.

Apology not accepted
When I catch you with someone else
Stop victimizing yourself
When you want someone to hold onto
I won't be there
When you want someone to lie to
Somebody will always understand
Somebody will always care
You didn't really play your part well
I'll find someone who can
Somebody is gonna love me
And I'm gonna love them back
You didn't really play your part well
I'll find someone who can
She doesn't know who you are
Too young to understand
And you don't even know what you want
And I've given you everything
So when you want someone to love you
I won't be there
When you cry alone in your room
I won't be there
Somebody will always understand
Somebody will always care
You didn't really play your part well
I'll find someone who can
Somebody is gonna love me
And I'm gonna love them back
You didn't really play your part well
I'll find someone who can
I'll find someone who can
I don't wanna feel this again
I don't wanna feel all this pain
I don't wanna feel this heartbreak
I just wanna get on this plane
Somebody is gonna love me
(Somebody is gonna love me)
And I'm gonna love them back
(And I'm gonna love them back)
You didn't really play your part well
I'll find someone who can
Somebody is gonna love me
(Somebody is gonna love me)
And I'm gonna love them back
(And I'm gonna love them back)
You didn't really play your part well
I'll find someone who can
The song "Someone Who Can" by Yuna is about the end of a relationship that was not worth fighting for because the other person did not play their part well. The lyrics express a sense of empowerment and moving on from a relationship that was filled with excuses and apologies that were not accepted. The singer is clearly done with the other person, implying that they have moved on and found someone who can fill the void that the other person left.
The singer is fed up with their partner, who they see is not capable of giving them what they need emotionally. They accuse the other person of victimizing themselves, and claim that they will not be there for them in the future when they need someone to hold onto or to lie to. The lyrics also point out that somebody will always understand and care, and therefore they don't need to put up with someone who doesn't play their part well.
The song ends with the singer realizing that they don't want to feel the pain of heartbreak ever again and therefore are willing to get on a plane and go find someone who can love them back. The song's lyrics, with their simple yet profound message, are a testament to the power of empowerment and moving on.

This is the best sampling of "Phone Call" from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind that I've heard. So many artists have used the loop just as it is. This is different.

Yuna has a beautiful voice and she is a great artist, is so unfair that a artist this caliber be so unknown, instead, prefabricated singers are spreading like plague
