Listen To The Voice Inside
Yves Larock Lyrics

And listen to the voice inside.
The one that can help keep love alive,
Every night,
Makes me feel alright.
I would cross every ocean,
From the mountains high,
For every drop of emotion,
There's a sacrifice.
Sometimes in your life you must fight,
That's why I had to
Stop,
And listen to the voice inside.
The one that can help keep love alive,
Every night,
Makes me feel alright.
I had to stop,
And listen to the voice inside.
The one that can help keep love alive,
Every night,
Makes me feel alright.
Everyone on the planet
Has a voice inside
Don't be hostage to ego and foolish pride
'Cause if you love someone
Come feel the sunshine
Your love is like a dogma
That's why I had to
Stop And listen to the voice inside.
The one that can help keep love alive,
Every night,
Makes me feel alright.
Listen to the voice inside...
Stop!
And listen to the voice inside.
The one that can help keep love alive,
Every night,
Makes me feel alright
The lyrics of "Listen to the Voice Inside" are about the importance of paying attention to your intuition, particularly when it comes to matters of love. The singer acknowledges that every person has an inner voice, and advises against being "hostage to ego and foolish pride." Instead, he urges listeners to embrace their feelings, particularly if they love someone, and compares love to a dogma. The chorus of the song emphasizes the importance of listening to the voice inside, which can help keep love alive and make you feel alright.
The song is accompanied by upbeat dance music, creating a feeling of positivity and joy despite the serious lyrics. The use of a call-and-response style in the chorus also reinforces the idea that the importance of listening to one's inner voice is something that applies to everyone, no matter who they are.
