In 1979 at work one day this young girl came up to me and said she was selling U.S. savings bonds. If I bought one from her, she would take me out for a drink. I did and a year later we were married. 40 years later we have 4 children, 3 grandchildren. May be the most expensive savings bond I ever bought. But it was also the most rewarding savings bond ever, for me. Thank you my love for saving my life.

4 months ago, I started speaking with one of my venders. I met her 7 weeks ago. She is the most amazing woman I've ever met. I realized I loved her even before I met her. The night she sat in my truck and told me she loved me, I knew. She and I didnt create this, it was giving to us.... I will ask her to be my wife, shes already my queen.

As someone with extreme social anxiety this song always hit me hard since the first time i heard it on the radio. So many times i wanted to tell someone how i felt but i ended up letting them walk away due to the fear of rejection. Now I've come to realize the pain of rejection is nothing compared to the pain of wondering every day about what could have been.
