@SomeInterestingName i’ve only been playing guitar for about a year now. i’m very skilled i’d say for how long i’ve been playing. and with the knowledge i have on guitar, i know that this type of playing is not easy, and it’s very different from the standards of music heard across america. obviously this is flamenco. but i haven’t seen someone as young as he was create such powerful feel and raw emotion in a song like this. if you had any ear for music you would understand what i’m trying to say. it speaks to me differently and i respect the performance much more than what i’ve heard throughout the years.

@Liam Haines I've been playing electric guitar for 1 year now, i just today tried some rumba and flamenco on accoustic, it's much easier than it appears, the strumming looks complex but it's just learning patterns slowly and then beggining to speed up in gradients, in one day I can play rumba strumming patterns, that sound Ike the guitar in this video and I bet you in 2 weeks i can learn this song, so yes the guy probably will learn to play that

@YTfalCon Nope. There is no one best person for any instrument. Music is judged and rated by human opinion which is often flawed, not to mention the many different playstypes, environment, and songs. Plus there is always someone at the other end of the globe who could be playing way “better” than that, it’s just that you never know.

I’ve been playing the guitar for 11 years now (I’m 15 right now as of this comment). The right hand to me is kind of muscle memory and for my left hand it’s a pain to learn (if i want to interpret a piece exactly how the composer desired it to be). This piece mainly consisted of chords which reduces the larger struggle of learning the left hand parts.

I've been playing guitar for 16 years. Been into classical and finger picking for maybe 7, any guitar player will tell you he's not amazing. Good I guess, yeah. Anyone who thinks he's amazing doesn't know too many guitar players out there. There's literally THOUSANDS better that you can find just on youtube.

Guitar just not about doing cool solos and finger picking is easy as hell. There are many better guitar players than this guy, but his form is amazing, his hands are so stable, his melodies, it just flows right.

Clypsoh I kindly disagree. His form isn't all that great, and you can hear him getting stuck on some chords, and hitting a couple of wrong things. Simple stuff we all do though

I couldn't agree more. I met a guy in a Guitar Center in my city a few weeks ago miles ahead of this guy.

He's good, to be sure. Takes years to play flamenco like this. But he is certainly a far cry from "amazing." He's that guy you know that is really good at guitar...not John Petrucci.
