Yes, I heard that before as well. Never tried the BFC Burger, but it does sound the same. But Culvers Burger just taste so much better. Here is the info that I got from the Culver's Website of why they call it a Butter Burger.....

"Every guest who comes to Culver’s knows they’re going to love our signature ButterBurger®, from its fresh, never frozen beef to the fact that it’s pressed and seared for full flavor. What a lot of folks don’t know is why it’s called a ButterBurger.

We call our ButterBurgers “ButterBurgers,” not because they’ve been cooked, marinated, dunked, fried or drizzled with butter but because we lightly butter the crown of the bun for an extra touch of goodness. (Where else would you expect such a delicious idea than from the dairy state?)

The butter we use on our buns also comes from right here in Wisconsin, crafted by our friends at Alcam Creamery, a small, family-owned creamery less than an hour outside our home in Sauk City.

This was really good. So glad I got their early to get one. They did not last long. The first person in the AM got 6 of them right away. They had 38 sold like in the first hour. They were huge. Culvers is great! I really enjoy going to Culvers. I have never had anything at Culvers that I did NOT like. Everything is pretty good. Their fries are some of the best as well. This sandwich started as a April Fools joke that became reality for one day. We will see if they continue to do it sometime or not.

Yours must have sat a bit before you tried it! Mine looked WAY better and the cheese oozed when I bit in! Had a massive cheese pull. I hope they put this on the menu full time. It was amazing!!!

I did not think we waited too long, but it could have been 10 minutes or so. It was still pretty warm though. I really liked it. Zack not so much. I would get it again if they offered it. Good to see Z and D back together! I still haven't tried Culver's yet but it looks really good! The nearest Culver's where I live is a half hour drive but one of these days I'm going to try it out! I'm not real sure about the cheese curd burger but their other burgers look good!

Looks good! We don’t have Culver’s here but I have ate their before when we visited Ohio! I had never heard of cheese curds until we went their bc they don’t have them in Louisiana. Anyway Happy National Cheese Curd Day! 😊

YES...CA is back and he is better then ever. He had the day off today and his soccer/football game is later today so we had time to be together to film this. That was nice. He loves Culvers anyway, so this was good. Yes, the meat was thinner then usually. A lot of cheese on that. But I did like it. I would get it again. Hope all is well. Thanks for watching. Yeah...that is too bad. Culvers are really good. I like them a lot. Great that they are based in WI as well :) This was really good. That cheese curd was a great addition to the burger. Hope they put it on the menu full time. Thanks for noticing the better lighting and video. I think the lighting was better because we filmed in the late morning when the sun was best. That really helped. Also, when Zack is in the videos we usually use his nice iPhone which has a great camera and mic. I have an old LG Android that I use when I do it myself. I know people can tell the difference. That is why he got the camera as well. To help with these. Thanks for noticing. Hope all is well. Have a great day and God bless!

So it's like the Carl's Jr. and Hardees BFC burger. I kinda liked them, but something in my brain told me that deep fried cheese on a burger might not be the healthy way to go. So, what is a regular "butter burger"? They put butter on a hamburger?? Curious.
