Party Hard
Zach Gill Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Three more parties to go, and I must concur
That it looks like we're gonna party hard this Christmas
Put on my coat, head out into the cold
Straight for the eggnog and rum, and that festive cheeseball
And it looks like we're gonna party hard this Christmas
But better too many than not enough
Friends all gathered around full of holiday swagger
How did I end up wearing these raindeer antlers?
The holidays are here too many parties all at once
But better too many than not enough
Friends all gathered around full of holiday swagger
How did I end up wearing these raindeer antlers?
Three in the morning beneath the moonlit sky
Snow on the ground, but I'm feeling warm inside
And it looks like we're gonna party hard this Christmas
Yeah it looks like we're gonna party hard this Christmas
In Zach Gill's song "Party Hard" he describes a scene of holiday revelry that he has been swept up into. He wakes up the morning after a party feeling the effects of the night before, and realizes he has three more parties to attend. Despite the exhaustion and weariness, he acknowledges that he and his friends are going to continue to party hard throughout the Christmas season. He puts on his coat and heads out into the cold to join the festivities. Upon arrival, he indulges in some eggnog, rum and festive cheeseball. The song highlights the feeling of being surrounded by good friends, all in high holiday spirits, despite the exhaustion and chaos of the season. Gill concludes the song with a description of himself, standing outside in the snow, feeling warm inside despite the chilly winter temperatures.
