Well, no one told me about her
The way she lied
Well, no one told me about her
How many people cried
But it's too late to say you're sorry
How would I know? Why should I care?
Please don't bother trying to find her
She's not there
Well, let me tell you 'bout the way she looked
The way she acts and the color of her hair
Her voice was soft and cool
Her eyes were clear and bright
But she's not there
Well, no one told me about her
What could I do?
Well, no one told me about her
Though they all knew
But it's too late to say you're sorry
How would I know? Why should I care?
Please don't bother trying to find her
She's not there
Well, let me tell you 'bout the way she looked
The way she acts and the color of her hair
Her voice was soft and cool
Her eyes…

Just love this song...

@bongisland2762

what's nuts is this is 1964!!
NO OTHER POP MUSIC that year was THIS ADVANCED! (I always thought this was 1968 or such.) It's SO FAR AHEAD of the Beatles of 1964, and everyone else!

@benbenwards9999

@@bongisland2762 It was really 1964. Yes, they were advanced. Only them had a keyboard player of that level. I remember our HS prom of 1965 in FEATI, Philippines two local bands played this song and other zombies song like "I remember when I loved her". The Beatles became popular as early as 1962. In 1968 the music trend changed. Psychedelic groups like Doors, Santana, Jimi Hendrix and others like Vanilla Fudge became popular.FYI.

@@danielakbotoev257 Ok, infant.

@Charleskesilatgmail

Daniel Akbotoev why are you listening to this song then?

@lindadote

Daniel Akbotoev ......this infantile insult amuses (or rather, bemuses) me. It’s the music made and enjoyed by “Boomers” that your current “artists” are “sampling” right now, 50+ years later. I can’t imagine the “sampled” pieces will be played in 50+ years time yet the music we grew up loving has undoubtedly stood the test of time and will continue to do so.

Groundbreaking for 1964, not even the Beatles had a song that year that was as somber and lyrically sophisticated as this, they were still doing mostly upbeat love songs. It still holds up today.

@terencenordberg7482

True - 1 phenomenal song versus the Beatles’ 40

@Elchamuc020
