Ride With Me
Zane Williams Lyrics

And I know when you meet me at the fenceline in the sunshine
You'll be lookin' fine in your bandana and your blue jeans
Baby would you ride with me
Climb up in the seat, put your bare feet up, tap along to the radio
Girl we can go kick around downtown with the top down
We can follow this county road wherever it leads
Take my hand, say I do
I wanna go down this road with you
High and low, thick and thin
Forever's just around the bend
And we'll be right where we wanna be
Baby would you ride with me
You know, life is a bull when the gate gets pulled and we'd better be holdin' on tight
It's a roller coaster flippin' over, it's a sailboat on the tide of a wide open sea
Baby would you ride with me
Take my hand, say I do
I wanna go down this road with you
High and low, thick and thin
Forever's just around the bend
And we'll be right where we wanna be
Baby would you ride with me
I've been thinkin' all day that if life is a highway we all travel on
The one that I wanna see in the seat sittin' with me
When I make these dreams come true
Is you, it's you, and it feels so fine when you
Take my hand and say I do
I wanna go down this road with you
High and low, thick and thin
Forever's just around the bend
And we'll be right where we wanna be
Baby would you ride with me
Baby would you take a ride with me
"Ride with Me" by Zane Williams is a song that embodies the road trip spirit, with its lyrics describing the thrill of setting off on an adventure with a loved one in tow. The opening lines of the song - "you can hear my engine hummin' comin' rumblin' up the road" - set the tone for the excitement and anticipation that the singer feels as he approaches his destination. He knows that his partner will be waiting for him at the fenceline in the sunshine, looking beautiful in her bandana and blue jeans. The singer invites his partner to join him on his journey, asking her if she would like to ride with him. He promises her that they will have a great time together, cruising down county roads with the radio playing, or exploring downtown streets with the top down. The chorus of the song emphasizes the importance of love and commitment in the face of life's challenges, and the need to hold on tight and stick together through thick and thin.
The song's message is a universal one, which is why it has struck a chord with so many listeners - after all, who doesn't love a good road trip? "Ride with Me" is a romantic and playful ode to the freedom that comes with hitting the open road, and the joy of sharing that adventure with someone you love. It's a song about making memories and enjoying the journey, no matter where it takes you.
