She rose to fame at the age of 10 when she won the Swedish talent show Talang in 2008. Following her victory, Larsson released her debut single, a cover of "My Heart Will Go On," which achieved chart success in Sweden. She later appeared on the TV program Sommarkrysset and participated in the reality series Jag ska bli stjärna in pursuit of an international music career. Managed by Laila Bagge, Larsson traveled to Los Angeles to meet with major record labels, including Universal Music Group, Sony Music, and Warner Music Group. However, due to her young age at the time, she did not secure a contract offer.

In 2012, Larsson signed with TEN Music Group and released her debut EP, Introducing, in 2013. The EP featured her breakthrough single "Uncover," which reached number one in Sweden and Norway and achieved platinum certification. Larsson's second EP, Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself, followed in 2013. During this time, she signed a three-year contract with Epic Records in the United States. In December 2013, Larsson performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, further expanding her exposure.

This song reminds me of a girl/ friend of mine who died after a skiing accident. She hit a tree and her heart had stopped. She was in the hospital for a few days and then her parents decided to take her off of life support. She’s been gone for a few years now but every time I hear this song I think of her. She passed away in grade 6 and she’s supposed to be going into grade 10 this year. I miss you Marin. Your friends miss you! We all miss you Marin. We will tell you all about it when we see you again! We love you Marin! RIP Marin!

I do miss Marin every day and I wish that there was something that the doctors could do. Marin’s parents made the right decision to take her off of life support. They didn’t let Marin suffer in any way by choosing to keep her on life support. Even if Marin lived through it, there would be many medical problems that would probably put her behind of her class. Marin sadly let behind a younger sister to grow up on her own without having her big sister

I promised myself that I would only listen to this song once a year because this was my mom's favorite song :( she passed away from a house fire and didn't make it. I cried alot while listening to this song and I listen to it everyday just to remember her and how she would always take photos of me when we went camping and how she would walk in my room just to ask how I was doin...I miss her alot but I'm pushing forward to focus more on life.
