{Refrain:}
{au Refrain}
The lyrics to Zebda's song La Fête speak of a world that is full of positivity and progress. The singer of the song describes this new world where there is no conflict, and everyone is happy. The rousing chorus "C'est la fête" (It's the party) is sung repeatedly, emphasizing the celebratory nature of this bright new world.
The song speaks of a time when people are more tolerant and accepting of each other, and differences are celebrated. This is expressed in lines such as "pour ceux qui marchent avec des souliers sur la tête" (for those who walk with shoes on their head), and "pour ceux qu'ont dans la tête une clé à molette" (for those who have a wrench in their head).
The song also speaks of the changing world, where people are more aware of the importance of vaccines and making love. The lyrics "le Vatican encourage tous les vaccins, faites l'amour la chose est dite" (the Vatican encourages all vaccines, do love, the thing is said) reflect the worldly view of the song's narrator.
Overall, Zebda's La Fête is a song that celebrates progress, unity, and positivity. It speaks of a world where differences are celebrated, and everyone lives in peace and harmony.
