Glorafilia
Zed Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

She keeps me waiting in the morning
Tying ribbons in her hair
And come the evening theres no warning
Why I'm not to know why she isn't there

No time to tell her all the reasons
Why I always disappear
And in those desperate situations
I just fade away still she never cares

But Glorafilia says
She says its just another Sunday afternoon oh oh
And Glorafilia says
She says there ain't no point in loving you no oh

She keeps me wrapped around her finger
So I don't know what to do
And using my imagination
She could set me free
I bet she's dying to

And sipping wine around a table

Her expense is plain to see
Entertainging for a living
She's got everything that she doesn't need

But Glorafilia says
She says its just another Sunday afternoon oh oh
And Glorafilia says
She says there ain't no point in loving you no oh

I can't sleep at night
I must show that things just ain't right
I really need to know

But Glorafilia says
She says its just another Sunday afternoon oh oh
And Glorafilia says
She says there ain't no point in loving you no oh

But Glorafilia says
She says its just another Sunday afternoon oh oh

And Glorafilia says
She says there ain't no point in loving you no oh

Overall Meaning

In Zed's song "Glorafilia," the singer is describing his relationship with Glorafilia--a woman who keeps him waiting and guessing about her whereabouts. The singer is clearly in love with her, but Glorafilia seems to be stringing him along, and she tells him that there's no point in loving her. The singer is frustrated but unable to break away from her hold.

The lyrics suggest that Glorafilia is a bit of a wild card, always tying ribbons in her hair and disappearing without warning. The singer seems to be caught up in the excitement of loving someone so unpredictable, but he's also beginning to realize that he's being taken for a ride. He can't sleep at night, and he knows that something's not right. However, he's still entranced by Glorafilia's charm, and he can't seem to break free of her spell.

The song's chorus, with its repetition of "She says its just another Sunday afternoon" and "There ain't no point in loving you," underlines the futility and frustration of the singer's situation. He's constantly left waiting and wondering, desperate to tell Glorafilia how he feels but never able to get a straight answer out of her.

Overall, "Glorafilia" is a poignant and relatable song about the struggle to love someone who is unavailable or unreliable. The catchy melody and heartfelt lyrics make it a memorable addition to Zed's discography.

We may have a population of only 4 million but we have ten times the talent!

@HolographicSkux

Man that's a straight up lie. I may have only lived in NZ for 32 years (entire life) but no our music is pretty shit. we have a few bangers but compared to America, UK or even Japan we suck. France has nothing on us though.

@heyysimone

@@HolographicSkux population size does effect the amount of artists you have

@HolographicSkux

@@heyysimone AHHHHhahahaha. yes it absolutely does. Read back what you just typed. More people = bigger pool of people who may end up as an artist. a country of 5 mill will have less artists and less competition driving them to work harder and make better music then a country like America with 330 million people. I assume you are a child so its ok that you couldn't see something so basic.

@heyysimone

@@HolographicSkux im not. You might be if you dont believe people are allowed their own opinions thiugh. We have some very good music. You not liking it doesnt change that some people do.

@HolographicSkux

@@heyysimone you didn't mention your opinion on the music you made a false claim about how numerical odds work. It's ok to be wrong like you are nobody is saying you can't like the music.
