Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul,
Frosty was a very cheerful snowman,

With a corncob pipe and a button nose

People believe that Frosty is a made-up story,

He was made of snow but the children Know how he came to life one day.

When they put the hat on Frosty's head, he started to dance.

Frosty was moving quickly and making thumping sounds as he moved.

Down to the village, With a broomstick in his hand, Running here and there all Around the square saying, Catch me if you can.
Frosty ran around the village with a broomstick, moving here and there and challenging anyone who can catch him.

He led them down the streets of town Right to the traffic cop.
Frosty guided the people down the streets and to where the traffic cop was.

And he only paused a moment when He heard him holler "Stop!"
Frosty stopped for a brief moment when he heard the cop yelling "Stop!"

For Frosty the snow man Had to hurry on his way,
Frosty needed to continue on his journey,

But he waved goodbye saying, "Don't you cry, I'll be back again some day."
Although he needed to go, Frosty waved goodbye and assured everyone that he'll return someday.

Frosty continued to move quickly and make thumping sounds as he left.

Frosty moved over hills of snow and made thumping sounds as he disappeared into the distance.
