Zen Lyrics

Abriendo puertas
a mi destino
veo el escape a mi delirio
Sólo faltas tú
sálvame de morir
ya no puedo respirar
ya no se donde acabar
ya no tengo en quién confiar
sin ti amor
Llevo en la mano
un crucifijo
Llevo por dentro
mil sacrificios.
Sácame de aquí
sálvame de morir
ya no puedo respirar
ya no se donde acabar
ya no tengo en quién confiar
sin ti amor
Sácame de aquí
sálvame de morir
ya no puedo respirar
ya no se donde acabar
ya no tengo en quién confiar
sin ti amor
The lyrics of "Sálvame" by Zen are about a person who is lost and looking for a way out of their delirium. They feel like they are suffocating and don't know where to turn, except to the person they are addressing in the song. The lines "Abriendo puertas a mi destino, veo el escape a mi delirio" (Opening doors to my destiny, I see the escape from my delirium) suggest that the person feels like they have a chance at a better life, but they need the help of their loved one to get there.
Throughout the song, the singer mentions their feelings of suffocation and desperation. They are carrying a crucifix, indicating a religious affiliation and perhaps a search for faith in a difficult situation. It is clear that this person is deeply in love with the person they are addressing, declaring "sólo faltas tú" (only you are missing) and "sin ti amor" (without you, my love). The repeated phrase "sálvame de morir" (save me from dying) highlights the urgency of the situation.
Overall, "Sálvame" is a plea for help and a declaration of love. The imagery in the song is powerful and emotive, conveying the depth of the singer's feelings and desperation.
