How Does It Feel
Zeus Lyrics

Planning your escape for days and days
You can feel the earth under your feet
You are like a dog who roams the streets
And how does it feel?
How does it feel? How does it feel?
Them feel your love
No, you can't make
Them feel your love, your love
Even your own mother let you go
Your sisters and your brothers gave up hope
Friends you didn't have cause you were cruel
And because you've never been to school
And how does it feel?
How does it feel?
How does it feel?
That you can't make
Them feel your love
No, you can't make
Them feel your love, your love
She got a letter from the postman
You wrote to tell her you were safe
That made her cry because she knows that
Everything you've ever said was fake
How does it feel?
How does it feel?
How does it feel?
That you can't make
Them feel your love
No, you can't make
Them feel your love, your love
The song “How Does It Feel?” by Zeus is a powerful and emotional exploration of loneliness, rejection and the yearning for love and acceptance. The song tells the story of a person who has been rejected by their family and friends due to their cruel behavior and lack of education. They are planning to escape and leave behind the life they have known, feeling like a dog wandering the streets, looking for a way out. However, despite their desire to find love and be accepted, they cannot make others feel their love, which leaves them feeling isolated and alone.
The lyrics are particularly powerful as they touch on themes that many people can relate to, such as feeling rejected and experiencing the difficulties of trying to fit in. The melody, with its simple and melancholic guitar riff, underscores the emotions of the lyrics, making the song an emotional experience for the listener. The lines “even your own mother let you go” and “friends you didn’t have because you were cruel” are particularly striking, highlighting the sense of abandonment and isolation that the singer feels.

so did biggie smalls and simon and garfunkel. what does that have to do with zeus? i'm seeing so many negative comments on this video, criticizing every piece of the song, the video, and even a god damn moustache. and i find it bizarre that you would say "the beatles already happened" when every song that comes on popular radio have the same sounds following the same format, with that same chord progression and you don't like the fact that you think a band sounds like the beatles?
