Thanks for focusing on Zez Confrey. There are a handful of his well known pieces that are heard over and over. He composed a great number of piano pieces in his career, many of which are very interesting. Some years ago I purchased "Zez Confrey - Ragtime, Novelty and Jazz Piano Solos", edited by Ronny S. Schief. ISBN 0-910957-03-7 There are a number of pieces in this book that I have never heard a recording of, e.g., Fantasy (1926), for which there are both Classical and Jazz arrangements. As an intermediate piano student most of his works are beyond my abilities. Most, but not all. I did learn, for example, After Theater - Tango from his "Moods of a New Yorker Suite".

My sheets in this video came from that book, which a friend sent me several years ago. I just got the book in the mail today. It is a shame that it is out of print. I am preparing a Confrey book of my own published with BachScholar Publishing.
