Spocone karki zadyszane
Już roznieciły przy stole ogień
Tłuste łapy mną mokre banknoty
I anioł odchodzi z papierkiem na czole
Na zewnątrz ulica brudna i wroga
Tam tłumu dole i niedole
Walcząc o gotówkę czy kawałek ścierwa
Popatrzcie przecież o to wam chodziło
Spójrzcie treserzy udało się
Wy nie patrzycie zamykacie oczy nakładacie białe rękawiczki
Tyle mówicie o pięknej przyszłości
Powiedzcie mi ile to już lat
Kasy pancerne pełne są ich wierszy
Poezji której nikt nie czyta
I tylko nieraz ktośdubluje
Ale potem to już tylko wojsko maszeruje
Popatrzcie jak spokojnie stoją w kolejkach
Czekając na chleb i nadzieje
Nieraz rozmawiają o polityce
Że idzie nowe że coś się dzieje
Popatrzcie spokojnie stoją przy maszynach
Zaczynają ufać zaczynają wierzyć
A w nocy modlą się o Boga
By następny rok pozwolił przeżyć
The lyrics to Zielone Żabki's song "Orkiestra" depict a scene where an orchestra begins playing, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere that helps people forget about the cold weather outside. The reference to "sweaty necks and shortness of breath" suggests that the music has ignited a sense of joy and excitement among the crowd. The line about "greasy paws and wet banknotes" implies that people are enthusiastically participating in the festivities, perhaps by contributing money or engaging in games or activities.
The following lines mention an angel leaving with a small piece of paper on their forehead. This image could symbolize that even in moments of celebration, there is a sense of vulnerability or imperfection. The outside world is described as dirty and hostile, contrasting with the warmth and unity inside. The line about "struggling for money or a piece of filth" suggests that people are so consumed by the desire for material things that they are willing to fight or compete for them.
The lyrics urge the listeners to look at how magnificently they are jumping, fighting for money or a worthless piece. This line could be interpreted as a critique of society's obsession with material possessions and the relentless pursuit of wealth. The mention of trainers or circus performers implies that society has become skilled in turning a blind eye to these issues, demonstrated by closing their eyes and putting on white gloves.
The next paragraph mentions armored safes filled with their poems, which nobody reads. This line suggests that despite the artistic endeavors or creative expressions put forth by these individuals, their work remains unknown or unnoticed. The reference to someone occasionally duplicating their work highlights the lack of originality or true appreciation for art. Ultimately, this leads to the military marching on, emphasizing the idea that society often prioritizes power and control over artistic expression.
The lyrics then shift to describe people waiting in lines for bread and hope, discussing politics and recognizing that change is occurring. This line conveys a sense of resilience and perseverance within the community, as they hold onto the belief that new opportunities or improvements are on the horizon. The mention of individuals trusting and believing in each other reflects a growing sense of unity and solidarity.
The final lines depict people calmly standing by machines, gradually gaining trust and faith. The mention of praying to God at night for another year suggests a reliance on faith and hope for survival. This emphasizes the struggle and uncertainty that the community faces, hoping that the next year will bring better circumstances. Overall, the lyrics of "Orkiestra" offer a reflection on societal issues, materialism, artistic expression, and the resilience of the human spirit.
