He started his career with collaborations and went on to release acclaimed solo records. MTV Iggy called his solo album, "Red Light" "Korea’s Best R&B/Soul Album of the Year" in 2013.
Zion.T debuted in 2011 and his first works were collaborations with well-known Korean hip hop artists. He released his first solo single, "Click Me" in April that year. His first solo album, "Red Light" was released on 9 April 2013. In December the same year an EP titled "Mirror Ball" came out, with the first music video released for his song "Miss Kim".
Zion.T also featured on albums of several K-pop artists, including Infinite H and G-Dragon.
In 2016, after his 3 years contract with Amoeba Culture finally finish, Zion.T signate with The Black Label, a sub label of YG Entertainment. After, already in 2017, he releases an album titled "OO" which includes collaborations with Beenzino and G-Dragon.

The verses of Zion.T's song "Hello Tutorial" confess the struggles of a person who has rehearsed their greeting in their head but cannot seem to follow through with it decently. The person finds themselves acting awkwardly, and their confident qualities disappear in front of the person they like. Before meeting the other person, everything seems perfect, but their anxiety takes over when trying to interact with them. The lines "Why do I smile like a fool when I stand in front of you?" and "I'm not happy to see you at all" show the conflict of wanting to impress the other person but feeling nervous about it.
The pre-chorus mentions how the person tries to pretend to share the same interests with the other by claiming to like the same movie, but in reality, they never watched it. The person rehearses their confession of love in front of a mirror and finally sees the other person after waiting for a long time. The choruses of the song restate the person's struggle of trying to casually greet the other person and failing miserably due to nerves.
Overall, "Hello Tutorial" portrays the relatable struggle of trying to play it cool when interacting with someone that one likes while feeling nervous and awkward.
