Zion TPL (The Promised Land), was originally born as a reggae band in 1996 in the small city of Maracay, in Venezuela, where little is known about this musical genre. The founding members took the initiative to spread a positive message through reggae music to create a social conscience in the World. The inclination of the founding members toward reggae music was born when they assisted a music festival in the city of Caracas, they had the opportunity to listen to the legendary Jamaican band The Wailers along with Rita Marley, Big Mountain, Inner Circle, and Pato Banton. After this concert their vision was clear: To become Reggae musicians. Influenced by world renowned artists such as Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Aswad, Burning Spear, to name a few, they developed lyrics to their songs focused on environmental conservation, the battle against discrimination, abuse of power, animal welfare, and the power of love as a human race.

Recordando aquel último adiós
No entiendo qué pasó
Vitamina tú me das
Te lo juro
Vitamíname
Que mi amor es muy puro
Vitamina tú me das
Brilla
Vitamíname
Ella siempre divina
Reina no sientas miedo
Vitamina tú me das
Te lo juro
Vitamíname
Que mi amor es muy puro
Vitamina tú me das
Brilla
Vitamíname
Ella siempre divina
The opening lines of "Vitamina" by Zion TPL convey a sense of loneliness and heartache. The singer is sitting alone on a couch, thinking about a past goodbye. He cannot understand why the other person left without saying goodbye, and he is left with only his music to comfort him. As the song continues, he explains that he wants to pay tribute to this person with his own unique style of music. He raps about his feelings for her and how he wanted to be with her so badly, but now he can't stop thinking about all the things they could have done if he hadn't let her go. He admits that everything that happened was his fault, and he's simply trying to make up for it now.
The chorus of "Vitamina" is catchy and upbeat, conveying a sense of hope and optimism that wasn't present in the opening verses. When the singer talks about "vitamina" he's basically talking about the person he loves. Vitamins are something essential that our bodies need to survive, and that's exactly how this person makes him feel. She gives him strength, energy and lifts his mood, making him feel alive. They also seem to have a very physical connection, as he talks about how her walking and thighs help heal his pain. Overall, the song is about regret, lost love, and the power of true love to heal us and make us feel alive again.
