She left Polygram in 1990, moved to São Paulo and decided to dedicate herself to a less commercial repertoire than that demanded by her former record label. She put together the show "Sobre Todas as Coisas", backed up by Marcos Suzano (percussion) and Lui Coimbra (violin-cello), with whom she toured Brazil. The show was later recorded by the label Eldorado. In 1993, "Valsa Brasileira", with its slick repertoire and expert technical back-up, was released by the label Velas and helped to put her up amongst the leading names on the MPB scene. In 1997, she recorded "Per Amore" – which was a commercial sensation, with its sales boosted by the title track. The following year, she released "Passione", an album Italian songs, only.
Só o Tempo
Zizi Possi Lyrics

Perguntando por meu bem (Psiu, Psiu, Psiu)
Tendo um coração vazio
Vivo assim a dar psiu
Sabiá vem cá também (Psiu, Psiu, Psiu)
Tu que anda pelo mundo (Sabiá)
Tu que tanto já voou (Sabiá)
Tu que fala aos passarinhos (Sabiá)
Tem pena d'eu (Sabiá)
Diz por favor (Sabiá)
Tu que tanto anda no mundo (Sabiá)
Onde anda o meu amor
Sábia...
In Zizi Possi's song "Só O Tempo," the singer is expressing their feelings of loneliness by constantly calling out to anyone and everyone, asking about their wellbeing and seeking comfort from those around them. The repetition of the word "psiu" emphasizes the singer's desperation and sense of isolation. Despite having a "vazio coração" (empty heart), the singer continues to reach out, hoping for a response and some relief from their pain.
In the second part of the song, the singer turns to the Sabiá bird, calling out to it as someone who has traveled the world and been through much, just like the singer's own heartache. The singer pleads with the Sabiá to help ease their pain, expressing their sadness by asking where their love has gone. The use of the Sabiá, a bird known for its beautiful song, as a symbol of hope, adds a poignant element to the song.
Overall, "Só O Tempo" speaks to the universal human experience of heartbreak and loneliness, and the search for comfort and solace in even the most unexpected of places.

..a transcendental and morbidly existentialist song. Paulinho da Viola is a philosopher disguised as a musician..
