1) A Mexican rock band, that's not not afraid of experimenting, with a modern sound, an eclectic style, some British influences & overall, their music's sophisticated without loss of rock energy. Their lyrics cover many subjects / feelings, with the same level of sophistication that their music shows, plus honesty. They usually write songs in Spanish, sometimes in English or a combination of both languages.
They began as a band in 1994; as time went by, the band changed members several times until the definite lineup stuck in 1997 with León Larregui (vocals and guitar), Sergio Acosta (guitar), Beto Cabrera (drums), Ángel Mosqueda (bass) and Chucho Báez (keyboards). Then the band made a demo and many gigs on their own with the little resources that they had; with all that, Zoé began to call the attention of the hispanic radio stations in the U.S. Later in 1998, Zoé signed a record deal with Sony Music Mexico and began making their first record in 2000; this album, self titled, came out and quickly became a favorite of the audience in Mexico; after that, the band performed songs in soundracks of movies such as 'Amar Te Duele', 'Ladies Night' and 'The Dreamer'.
Fast forward to 2003. Zoé, along with producer Phil Vinall (Placebo, Elastica, Pulp), recorded their second album called 'Rocanlover', which became more successful than the first one thanks to hit songs like 'Peace & Love' and 'Veneno', which aired in several TV countdowns.
In 2005, after three years of working together, Zoé left Sony Music because of the lack of real interest that this record label had in them and signed a new deal with Noiselab; with a newfound belief in record labels, Zoé made an EP called 'The Room', which debuted at the top of the rankings in Mexico. This EP includes, among others, the song 'Dead' (first single); also, are including "She Comes" and "Morning Watts" as new songs and also some remixes of "Dead" by great electronic artists from Mexico such as Sonido Lasser Drakkar or Los Dynamite, plus a couple of videos.
On July 12th, 2006; Zoé (now wih Rodrigo Guardiola in the drums) presented their more recent production, "Memo Rex Commander y el Corazón atómico de la Vía Láctea", a sophisticate, layered production, which tops several magazines' rankings. Both Zoé and producer Phil Vinall worked very hard in Tornillo, Texas, a remote town in the desert, to get "Memo Rex" finished.
In fall 2006, Zoé headlined the Rockampeonato Tour, along with other Noiselab signees like Los Dynamite and Los Odio!, which held shows at cities like Mérida, Guadalajara and many others. This is the biggest tour Zoé has been a part of since they were formed.
In 2007 Zoé recorded "281107", a live album that celebrates their first 10 years as a band, it was recorded on the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, this recording went platinum pretty quickly which is something unusual for live recordings in Mexico. On November 11th 2008 "Repileptric" Zoé's seventh studio album was released.
2) An alias of Zoë Pollock (b. in Peckham, London, UK - aka Zoë, Zoe, Hepzibah Broom & Pollack), is a pop / rock / folk singer who began her career in the mid-80s, dated Martin Glover (aka Youth, who produced her early work), released three solo albums (two as Zoë, another as Hepzibah Broom) & several singles. She is now a member of Mama.
Her 1991 début, Scarlet Red And Blue (originally, released as Zoë's Scarlet Red And Blue), contained Sunshine On A Rainy Day & "Lightning" (aka Sunshine On A Rainy Day & Lightning, with 'Zoe' spelling), which have been her biggest hits, to date (peaking at #4 & #37, respectively - on the UK chart).
In 1996, Zoë re-emerged - still with M & G Records & bringing a revamped image / style / sound - releasing an americana-styled rock album, Hammer.
Re-emerging again, around 2008, she has released Hepzibah Broom (as Hephzibah Broom) & formed female folk duo 'Mama' (with singer Sarah McQuaid - their début release is Crow Coyote Buffalo).

Da sabedoria e do conhecimento de Deus
Quão insondáveis são os Teus juízos
Quão impenetráveis os Teus caminhos
Quem pois conheceu a mente do Senhor?
Ou quem foi o Seu conselheiro?
Ou quem primeiro deu a Ele
Porque d'Ele
Por meio d'Ele
Para Ele são todas as coisas
Porque d'Ele
Por meio d'Ele
Para Ele são todas as coisas
Nunca foi sobre nós
Nem sobre o que podemos fazer
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Nunca foi sobre nós
Nem sobre o que podemos fazer
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Quem sou eu?
E o que eu tenho pra Te oferecer?
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Quem sou eu?
E o que eu tenho pra Te oferecer?
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Eu descobri que sem Ti
Sem Ti eu nada posso fazer
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Eu descobri que sem Ti
Sem Ti eu nada posso fazer
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Você é Santo, Santo, Santo
Santo, Santo Santo
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Você é Santo, Santo, Santo
Santo, Santo Santo
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Você é Santo, Santo, Santo
Santo, Santo Santo
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Você é Santo, Santo, Santo
Santo, Santo Santo
É tudo sobre Você
Tudo para Você, Jesus
Hosana, Hosana
Hosana nas maiores alturas
Hosana, Hosana
Hosana nas maiores alturas
Hosana, Hosana
Hosana nas maiores alturas
Hosana, Hosana
Hosana nas maiores alturas
Porque d'Ele
Por meio d'Ele
Para Ele são todas as coisas
Oohh
Porque d'Ele
Por meio d'Ele
Só para Ele são todas as coisas
Porque d'Ele
Por meio d'Ele
Para Ele são todas as coisas
E à Ele, pois, a glória eternamente
Porque d'Ele
Por meio d'Ele
Para Ele são todas as coisas
Não, nunca foi sobre nós
The song "Nunca" by Zoé is a powerful message that speaks to the inherent desire for freedom and individuality that is present in all of us. It begins with a plea to not be confined or restricted by the beliefs and limitations imposed by others. The singer admits to feeling fear, but this fear is not enough to stop him from pursuing his dreams. He has built wings of cardboard, which symbolize his determination and his willingness to take a risk. Despite the fact that his wings might melt and he could die from the heat of the sun, he is willing to try.
The chorus of the song reveals that the singer has fallen before, but he refuses to give up. He will pick himself up and try again, even if it means he will suffer once more. The idea of a "flight in flames" represents the risk inherent in trying to be true to yourself. The singer recognizes that he is not perfect, and that he has made mistakes in the past. However, he remains hopeful that he can find a way to repair the damage and move forward.
Ultimately, "Nunca" is a song about the power of the human spirit. It is a reminder that we all have the ability to rise above our circumstances and overcome the challenges that we face. Even if we fail, we can always try again. It is a message of hope and resilience that is sure to resonate with anyone who has ever struggled to find their place in the world.

Nunca me digas que no puedo, nunca me digas que creer
Don't ever tell me what I can't do, don't ever tell me what to believe
No ves que ya tengo miedo, no me pongas tus cadenas
Can't you see that I'm already scared, don't chain me down with your beliefs
Perdóname si no te sigo pero me aburre caminar
Forgive me if I don't follow you, but I'm bored of walking the same path
Me construí unas alas de cartón
I built myself cardboard wings
Y voy a intentar llegar al sol aunque me muera de calor
And I'll try to reach the sun even if I die of heat
Un vuelo en llamas, bautizo lumino
A flight in flames, a baptism of light
Reparo los magnetos del amor, mientras mis alas se desintegrarán
I fix the magnets of love, while my wings disintegrate
Y vuelvo a caer una vez más, en el rincón
And I fall once again, in the corner
Uh en el rincón, uh me quemé, uh vuelvo a intentar
Uh in the corner, uh I got burned, uh I'll try again
Mataste al verbo con saliva
You killed the verb with saliva
Con tu lenguaje natural
With your natural language
Creo que aún hay esperanza
I believe there is still hope
Y por eso me vuelvo a rasurar todas las penas de una vez
And that's why I shave off all my sorrows at once
Y abro mis alas sin más superstición
And I open my wings without any superstition
Que la que me llevo a abandonar
That which led me to abandon
Un vuelo en llamas bautizo lumino recargo los magnetos del amor
A flight in flames, baptism of light, I recharge the magnets of love
Mientras mis alas se desintegrarán
While my wings disintegrate
Y vuelvo a caer una vez más en el rincón uh!
And I fall once again in the corner uh!
En el rincón uh! Me queme, uh!
In the corner uh! I got burned uh!
Vuelvo a intentar
I try again

@5Esau2
Denise Gutiérrez es lo mejor que le pudo haber pasado a Zoé en éste unplugged, es el plus, el lujo, el adorno, la clave y la base, siempre que interviene con su voz eleva la calidad de las canciones. tan infravalorada y con una voz única.
@SebasLP14
Según leí mucho del éxito de est unplugged en la composición fue gracias a Chetes y sin duda la voz de Denise es brutal.
