1) Formed in 2006 , Zombie Girl comes from Edmonton, Canada, and is the creative project of Renee Cooper. Her music is often described as electronic body music, with elements of rock 'n' roll and classic horror movie themes and a touch of humour. The songs are pumping, groovy and magnificently lead by Renee Cooper's captivating voice. She is the voice, body and spirit behind Zombie Girl. Zombie Girl was signed to the Alfa Matrix label. The first official Zombie Girl show was on Halloween, at the New City venue in Edmonton. Only 30 minutes in length but bearing enough power and gore to stick to the minds of those who attended for years to come.
Her ex-husband Sebastian R. Komor of Icon of Coil co-founded the project and produced the music and most of the lyrics up until their split. The two disbanded and divorced in 2009 due to personal reasons.
In July 2011, Cooper announced via Facebook that she has chosen VoA VoXyd from Ad Inferna to co-write and produce her new forthcoming album, though due to scheduling conflicts, as of May 2013, Dave "Rave" Ogilvie has been announced as the new producer.
Some Zombie Girl songs can be found on different European and Mexican compilations. Creepy Crawler is featured on the industrial compilation Endzeit Bunkertracks, Act 2 (disc 3: Damage Session), We Are the Ones made the Advanced Electronics, Volume 4 (disc 1) tracklist and I Want It debut on Alfa Matrix's own Cyberl@b, Volume 5.0 (disc 2). These releases are also available in North America on the label Metropolis Records.

There's something crawling, in the dark.
I don't see it, but I know, it's after me.
There's something lurking.
Oh, there's something lurking, in the dark.
I don't see it, but I know, it's here for me.
I'm not afraid of it.
Cause I'm as evil as can get.
Nothing's ever, scared me yet.
Hey, hey, hey.
Creepy crawler...
What's wrong with you now, you seem a little smaller.
Hey, hey, hey.
Creepy crawler...
Crawl back the way you came, you're not worth a dollar.
There's something lurking.
Oh, there's something lurking, in the dark.
I don't see it, but I know, its here for me.
There's something crawling.
There's something crawling, in the dark.
I don't see it, but I know, it's after me.
Cause I'm as evil as can get.
Nothing's ever, scared me yet.

The lyrics of Zombie Girl's song "Creepy Crawler" describe a feeling of paranoia and fear of the unknown. The singer senses something crawling and lurking in the dark, even though she cannot see it. Despite this, she claims to not be afraid and boasts of her evil nature, asserting that nothing has ever scared her before. The chorus addresses the "creepy crawler," telling it to go away because it is not worth anything.
The repeated emphasis on the unseen presence creates an eerie atmosphere that perfectly matches the song's title, "Creepy Crawler." The singer's denial of fear and her implication of being evil, while also acknowledging the menacing force, contributes to the distorted and disturbing tone of the song. The commanding tone of the chorus suggests a form of powerlessness, but also defiance in the face of an entity that cannot be seen.
