+xxxaxxx1000 Ese fue siempre el punto de crítica de Zonata, una excelente banda, pero poco original, ya que su estilo era calcado al de las leyendas y prácticamente sin aporte a la escena metalera. No sé si eso fue lo que los desanimó, al punto de desintegrarlos.
Algo similar sucede con los Franceses Heavenly. Otra banda excelente en ejecución, pero sin innovación. Y lo menciono, porque veo que Internet se les castiga mucho con ese tipo de comentarios.
Creo que a esas bandas, se les castiga más, porque su técnica en ejecución es magistral y existiendo eso, los escuchas quieren algo más. Cosa que no pasa con otras, que también son "copionas", pero no ejecutan tan bien, por eso ni siquiera causan revuelo.
Respecto a Zonata, creo la tuvieron difícil desde el principio, porque los géneros ya están creados y pueda que ellos hayan llegado muy tarde. Ergo, creo que no era para castigar a Zonata con la tílde de copiones, porque bandas de más renombre como Edguy, Angra, Hammerfall(sobre todo estos), At Vance, etc., no son precisamente, lo más original del mundo y nunca se les cuestionó por tal situación.
Zonata tenía para más, inclusive para ser referente en la escena del Power Metal melódico. Algunas con menos calidad, lo son hoy en día. Sólo hubiera bastado, con estudiar más la música y proponer pequeñas cosas, que otros no habían y no han propuesto.
Repito que, Nyberg es un genio y un vocalista de primer nivel, superior inclusive a otros más famosos. Solo tendría que haberse enfocado un poco más.

Pensar que esta banda duró tan poco tiempo en activo... Con tres discos lograron mucho, quizás más de lo que ellos mismos imaginaron en su momento... La perfección inclusive, en este tema.
Esta canción es una obre de arte, digna de los más grandes. De haber seguido así, Zonata sin duda sería hoy en día un referente del Power Metal melódico.
Se sabe poco a la fecha de hoy de Johannes Nyberg. Poco se lee de él en la web; pero ojalá y donde esté, recobre fuerza y logre sentir que a kilómetros de distancia, habemos muchos, que anhelamos volver a escucharle, ya sea con Zonata o con otro gran proyecto; pero mejor si es Zonata.

pues si... pero lo que pienso de eso... es que... las bandas buenas, que desarrolan un estilo propio, muchas, nunca aprovechan o explotan, o almenos hacen lo mejor y x cantidad de canciones con ese estilo unico y propio, un ejemplo es sonata arctica, ellos tienen su estilo, pero poco a poco lo han venido alterando hasta el punto en que les dio por cambiarlo totalmente... otro ejemplo mejor es linkin park, que desarrolo un estilo unico de NU METAL pero son escasas las canciones... y un solo album mas que todo en el que se disfruta de sus estilo de un NU METAL inigualable, o que no han logrado siquiera igualar... (hablo de HIBRYD THEORY, y tambien METEORA) y pues... si hay bandas que sacan un estilo basado en """"las leyendas""" otra cosa que me parece injusta... de estos metaleros que mas que metaleros parecen facistas... xD que se ponen a criticar a las bandas, o adorar solo a x bandas famosas, que ya son viejas... digo.. la idea no es aclamar cualquier diarrea... pero zonata es una buena banda, y si no es orginal... no dejan de ser exelentes, y sus canciones son buenas. y espero que almenos su letra sea original.... el punto de todo esto es que, como bien lo dices, el METAL y sus sub generos ya estan hechos... y esta dificil no pasar por copion... pero si se puede lograr ser original y hacer exelente metal.. si la mayoria no cree o dejan de creer en esto.. el metal morira
