Honestly Lan Zhan is the best husband out there you can EVER find.... the things he endured and did during those 13 years (and even before those 13 years), is just unbelievable. I’m certain that I wouldn’t have been able to endure those years.... because those lonely years, months, days and hours, having to endure it without the love of my life, the only person who can make my heart beat fast, I would’ve gone mad, lost all hope and just die. I don't know what is more sad, the music or the anime, video. It fits the anime so much you might think it's a part of it. It's a shame that so many good characters had to die. Whole Jiang clan, Jiang Yanlee, Jin Zixuan (Jin Ling's dad)... Such a sad anime... I wish episodes were longer like drama Untamed. I hope they continue second season.

The thing is, if you hate any character from MDZS, you actually didn't understand the story. When you feel the story, you'll know how much each and every character has faced so many stuffs. And abt JC, sorry but he doesn't deserve any hate. He was never taught to express himself. From being compared and asked to meet up the society's expectation since such a young age, to being left with nothing but a nephew and memories. He needed a shoulder too...

Honestly Jiang Cheng is probably one of the most relatable characters on the show. He is flawed but so understandable. He lost everyone he loved and the only person left who he loved (who swore to him he was gonna stay by his side) ended up leaving him. He lost his mom & Dad, Wei Wuxian left him (for a good reason because he was protecting the innocent) his sister who he loved more than anyone then later died in a battle that (in his opinion) was caused by Wei Wuxian. He had no one left and he was hurting badly too. My fave characters are Wei Wuxian & Lan Wangji but I have to say people downplay the things Jiang Cheng went through too. Lan Zhan lost the person he loved 13 years ago but Jiang Cheng lost 4 of the people he loved most :/. And Wei Wuxian.. He really lost so much more than everyone. He lost his parents at an early age, lost his aunt and uncle, lost his sister he loved so much, lost the wen clan who he had rescued and came to love, lost Wen Qing and (he thought) he lost Wen Ning and A-Yaun. Everyone was against him including his brother he grew up with and he also thought Lan Zhan was against him. I started writing this to cry about Jiang Cheng but I ended up crying about Wei Wuxian. My baby went through too much :(

His brother and sister, the Wens, his friends, the world. Everyone he loved. Think of it like that makes this song more emotional, I think.

This song really resonates wei wuxian because I felt like the lyrics really does a good way of explaining wei wuxian complicated inner feelings. The feelings, expressions, words, actions that wei wuxian can’t ever get out. The turmoil that he has EVERYDAY. As much as I love that lan wangji did all he did and much more after wei wuxian died and waited 13 years for him. My heart and my feelings is always connect to wei wuxian. This AMAZING piece of novel between these two characters really makes the whole story AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL and HEARTWRENCHING. I could literally write a 20 page essay of why I always choose wei wuxian. I love lan wangji as much as I love wei wuxian, but wei wuxian for no apparent reason is always number 1 to me. I felt like I understood him so much and I also understood lan wangji as well.

Watching this, I feel bad because I hated Jiang Cheng and thought that he was selfish, until I realized the reason he lost his Core. I hated him because of how he acted towards wuxian. I cried because of the misunderstanding between both of them, that wuxian had to die and be reincarnated before they could move forward.

This right here is what got me into this fandom, what got me into this series at all. This beautiful video was what started it all. One day I was looking through Youtube and this video kept on popping up in my recommendations. I was thinking 'If I just clicked on it it would go away right?' Best. Decision. Of. My. Life. No joke. One small, seemingly insignificant decision had changed my life forever. If it wasn't for this video, I don't think I would've found this story at all. This video will always hold a special place in my heart.

Here's some minor advice. Based on my experience, a single decision can change your life. It doesn't matter whether it's big or small. So take risks. If just one decision can change your life, whether it be big or small, then you never know what decision it could be. If you never take risks in life, who knows what you're missing out on?
