The project caught the attention of Daniele Gotti and Gabriele, already band mates of Pietro in a band called Carmen Ferox .
The definitive line-up see the light during the summer of 2006 with the addiction of Claudio Brembati as singer. The combo is ready to strike!
We can describe Anticlockwise as a mixture of thrash metal with a little hint of progressive , especially in the tempo-schemes.
The 7 strings and the riffs recall sometimes the great Nevermore band but the band his personal enough to find his own way!
‘Nonlinear Dynamical Systems’ is the first demo released and later, in november 2013, finally the first album ‘Carry the Fire’ came out!
The band has just recorded his second full length album named "Raise Your Head" at Domination Studio.

The lyrics of "Slave" by anticlockwise heavily delves on feelings of hopelessness and being trapped in a sense, both emotionally and physically. Starting off with "If it's a daydream, the colors have faded", it sets the tone for what's to come. The singer is shutting out any sounds by blocking both their ears, giving the impression that they don't want to hear anything, except their own thoughts. The "distorted chords" and "blaring warning bells" that follow could represent the negativity and chaos the singer is trying to avoid. The heart that's consumed by "greed" is trying to find a tune that's already out of tune, implying that the singer's own emotions are causing their suffering.
The chorus with "In love and hate, everything will come true with the inverted second hand" represents the hopelessness that the singer feels towards their life, and how they have accepted that there is no escape from the stagnant present. The "future gears that are broken and missing" represent the lost opportunities and the feeling of being stuck in time, with a rusted-up mechanism that can't be fixed. The clear blue color of the sky is now painted bleak by the machine's emptiness.
The bridge of the song has a lot of rhetorical questions which could imply the singer's true desires, and their uncertainty about whether they want to listen to them. The memory-like scars that are etched on the machine represent the unsightly thoughts that are hard to ignore. The lyrics are evocative and impactful in its portrayal of despair, trapped helplessness and the longing to return to the beginning where it all started.
