When you leave I knew it was forever
I think it'll make it all better
I cry with depress in my face
I cry my soul in the place
You smell like cheap cigarettes
And we forgot about our beds
Getting drunk in bad taste wine
I put your picture in my golden sky
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be
I miss your fresh dumb hair
And you squeezing me like a bear
Your funny accent n the chinese neighborhood
I think I misunderstood
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what I want you to

Overall Meaning

The lyrics in Brvnks's song F.I.J.A.N.F.W.I.W.Y.T.B are filled with vivid imagery of the aftermath of a breakup. The singer expresses the pain and sadness of separation and how it feels to be left behind. The opening line, "When you leave I knew it was forever," sets the tone for the entire song, as the singer mourns the loss of a relationship that was meant to last. Despite the pain, she tries to find solace in the belief that the breakup will somehow make things better in the long run.

The line, "I cry with depress in my face, I cry my soul in the place," conveys the singer's deep sadness and despair. She also mentions the smell of cheap cigarettes, which could be a reference to the scent of her ex-partner or a metaphor for something that is unpleasant and temporary. The line "Getting drunk in bad taste wine" might be referring to trying to numb the pain of the breakup with alcohol, but the bad taste suggests that it's not working. The singer has also put her ex's picture in her "golden sky," which is a poignant image of how she still holds onto memories of the relationship.

The chorus repeats the line, "Freedom is just a name for what I want you to be," which highlights the singer's desire to let go of the past and let her ex-partner be free. She misses his physical presence, like his "fresh dumb hair" and the way he used to "squeeze" her. The mention of his "funny accent" in a "Chinese neighborhood" adds another layer of complexity to their relationship, implying that there may have been cultural differences that contributed to the breakup.

Overall, Brvnks's song is a heart-wrenching exploration of the aftermath of a breakup and the slow process of healing and letting go.
