If I remember correctly, saying "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" Or something along those line are another way to say that you liked someone because the word "moon" in japanese is pronounced as "tsuki" and "like" (as in I like you) is pronounced as "suki"

@aguyinlove suki (like) and tsuki (moon) sound very similar . Kirei means pretty so it isnt exactly correct. Tsuki also can means thrust or stab in Japanesd
