La combi bien dura, pa'
Pulseras cadenas, pa'
Las tenis de caja, pa'
Que la envidia descanse en paz
Mi combo en camino va
Masaje el asiento me da
Parece que tengo un spa
Get out my way
No te vo'a obligar
Lo que vaya a pasar
Es tu decisión
Déjala caer (Daddy)
Déjala caer (come on)
Como vas bailando
Algo está pasando
Entre tú y yo
Cuando las miradas
Solas se hablan
Sube la pasión (yeah, you know)
No te vo'a obligar
Estamos acelerao'
Nadie nos controla
Vengo desde abajo
La calle es mía
Oye, DJ, rompe la consola (ey)
Déjala caer
Como vas bailando
Algo está pasando
Entre tú y yo
Cuando las miradas
Solas se hablan
Sube la pasión (yeah, sube)
No te vo'a obligar
Lo que vaya a pasar
Es tu decisión (baby)
Déjala caer (come on)
Déjala caer (Daddy)
Como vas bailando
Algo está pasando
Entre tú y yo (tú y yo)
Cuando las miradas
Solas se hablan
Sube la pasión (sube, baby)
No te vo'a obligar
Lo que vaya a pasar
Es tu decisión (boss)
Déjala caer
La calle es tuya
Estamos acelerao'
Nadie nos controla (ey, ey)
Vengo desde abajo
La calle es mía (tú sabe')
Oye, DJ, rompe la consola (hey, ey) (Da-ddy)

The lyrics to Daddy Yankee's song Déjala Caer speak about a group of people riding in a car, flaunting their jewelry and shoes, and ignoring the police because they are their own law. They arrive at a club, where they are seated at reserved tables with champagne and attract the attention of female servers. The song implies a romantic and sexual tension developing between two individuals. Daddy Yankee encourages the woman to let her guard down and pursue the passion she feels. The verses also touch on the fame, fortune, and unstoppable nature of the group.
The song reflects the culture of reggaeton, which originated in Puerto Rico in the early 1990s. Reggaeton is a fusion of Latin American music styles, including bomba and plena, with reggae and hip hop. It is characterized by its explicit sexual lyrics and dancehall beat. Daddy Yankee is a pioneering figure in reggaeton and has achieved global success with hits like "Gasolina" and "Despacito."
