wooow the difference is astounding! i am amazed, wouldn't think that the q3 would end up SUCH great recordings. your piano sounds very piano-ish now if that makes any sense, haha. like a grand, in a way. also i like the piece. hisaishi seems to be very popular but i have missed out on most of his music so far.

It's a wonder performance. Very well played, high quality video and you captured the very essence this piece. By the way, I may be wrong, I think the name of this song is Shiita no Ketsui (Shiita's Decision). Cheers

@daigoro789 (2) the transition between hand positions as graceful as possible - with the intention that they compliment the music and help to add to my own emotional connection with it - this works for me in such a way, that even if i wasn't recording it, i would still have the hand movements in. i hope that helps and answers your query! my thanks again for posting ^____^

@zombiesquirrels8D Late reply, but... hand motions are actually encouraged by piano teachers. As a student I was often reprimanded for not doing it (probably because I thought my pieces were boring). It really does let you get into the feeling of the song. Think of it a little like dance. It smooths the transition, like daigoro said. :)

Do you have the sheets for that piece? I'd love to learn it :)
