daoko Lyrics

@Blurred Lancer Yu Ilhan it's just disappointing, but not really terrible.
The art is great, except for a little bit of overuse on the CG. The plot is kind of confusing and doesn't really make that much sense even if you look into the screenplay it was based off and explanations.
It's built up as a runaway story/love story for most of the film, even though that's not really the "message" of the film, so when you get towards the end it just feels like the film had nothing to say at all. Then you have the typical "shaft-style chit-chat" which is extremely mundane for shaft standards. It's just boring in this case.
My biggest problem, personally, with the movie was just a feeling of wasted potential. It has this amazing song that goes really, really well with the visuals of the movie. Which is why i keep coming back to this video. So imagine how frustrated i was when watching this movie and waiting for them to kick off this song to some amazing visuals of fireworks, or the seaside landscapes, or any other impressive shot in the movie. But no, the soundtrack is terrible throughout the movie, and then they use this song at the end credits to a black background...
In the end, go watch the movie, it's still worth it. But i really mean it when i say that the music video is the best to come from it. In the worst case it's worth just having the movie as a reference when watching the music video for like 50th time.

I agree with you, the story isn't as furbished as Your Name or Weathering with you, only the song has caught me into this hahaha

This song gives that sad beautiful tragic feeling, like when it's time to let go of something or someone that you once cared and loved so much.
