The Persian lyrics of Dariush's song Eshghe Bi Hasel describe the feelings of heartbreak and longing after being left alone by the person you love. The song opens with the singer expressing how sad and overwhelmed he feels during a night in which he sings a song about his departed lover. He then goes on to reveal that he woke up to find them gone, abandoning him without a goodbye.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Oh, the regret of entrusting my heart to your love was in vain," emphasizing the pointlessness and disappointment of his love for this person who made empty promises and offered only tainted moments of happiness. The singer confesses that despite the pain and hurt caused by their departure, he cannot forget the memories of their passionate affection and fiery love. He mentions the metaphor of a strange light that was illuminated when they were together, leaving him in the dark and struggling to cope on his own. The song concludes with the singer acknowledging that without this person, he will likely be unable to move forward in life and may continue to suffer this never-ending heartache forever.
Overall, the song embodies the raw emotions of losing love and the inexplicable pain of trying to let go of something that once meant everything.
