Locked On
dark station Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The truth inside

Invading my own subconscious
To gain my reality
It′s funny how the fear we run from
Is the only thing that can push us

Are we afraid of what we don't see
Uncovered truths for the world to break free
The world to break free

I′m locked on ready to move now
With this pain
I'm ready for it
And so long to the virtues
If I hurt you I never meant it

Swallowing my own heartache
To change my taste in humanity
Under the stars I walk
A torn thread
But maybe I'm better, I′m better off dead
I′m better off dead

Whatever it takes me

I am the answer
I'm not the lie
The truth ignored and left behind

I am the answer
The truth ignored

The truth inside
Yeah
I never meant it

I′m locked on ready to move now
With this pain
I'm ready for it
And so long to the virtues
If I hurt you I never meant it

I′m locked on
And so long
If I hurt you
I never meant it

And if I hurt you
I never meant it

This song is now in my top 4 faves from Dark Station. It's tied with Heros then my other 2 are Ghost and Obvious. Nathans voice in this song was tested with all the notes he had to hit and the new sounds vs their other songs. He delivered! Then the band sounded just as great but let's be honest, they always do! The video is really good as well it's captivating and gives a lot of focus on the singer and the lyrics. I could write pages on why this song is so great haha.
