Based in York, the band have been on a non-stop rise since the start of 2008. Gigging constantly and playing with as many touring bands as possible the band have been building a solid fan-base with no sign of letting up. The bands first release ‘Save Yourself’ (tracks from which have featured on the covermount cd's of Powerplay and Devolution magazine) set up a solid foundation for the band and continues to sell well at shows. The follow up ep titled ‘Feel Free’, released in 2009, showed a much more melodic and mature side to the band with well crafted and written songs and was awarded Harrogate record of the year 2009. 2009 was also toppped off with the bands first appearance in the national rock press with a small feature in ROCKSOUND magazine. DIF are currently in the process of readying their new material and first single release and will spend 2010 extensively touring the UK.
If you like your rock loud with a decent chorus, then this band definitely for you! Think Deftones meets Biffy Clyro meets Will Haven and you’re somewhere close

Drowned in Flames was a small Canadian punk band, no longer together. They have achieved some notoriety with "Jade's Song", which is often rumored to be an AFI song sung by Jade Puget instead of Davey Havok. The rumor has propagated over file sharing services like LimeWire in order for the file to attract more views and downloads.
