hey hey hey hey hey
hey hey hey hey hey
hey hey
I'm alone now
check it out
me and you should take a vaca
i gotta plan now
go out
see you wanting for anoher day
its the thing that i wanna talk about
so now you've gotta hear me out
you get it done you, you get it done

why don't me and you

hey now hey now
i havent had a laugh for a day now
hey now hey now
you know you dont let's do this right now
now now now now...
do this right now...

back to the cell and then underground

back to the cell and then underground

what you waiting for

put you back in it...

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "Looking For A Place" by Elektrik Prophet are enigmatic and open to several interpretations. The song begins with a catchy chant that sets the mood for the rest of the track. The singer then declares himself alone and invites his companion to take a vacation with him. He says he has a plan and urges his friend to listen to him. The lyrics suggest that the singer is trying to persuade his friend to come with him on a journey that could change his life.

As the song progresses, the singer asks his friend why they haven't had a laugh in a day and aggressively urges him to do something about it. The phrase "back to the cell and then underground" is used twice, which could signify the end of something, the end of a relationship, or the end of a journey. The lyrics "what you waiting for, put you back in it" suggest that the singer wants his friend to take action and pursue what he wants.

Overall, "Looking For A Place" by Elektrik Prophet is a song about taking risks and living life to the fullest. The singer is urging his friend to stop waiting and take the next step in life.
