Sedna
ensou Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Kahit na ika'y nag-iisa
wag ka na malungkot
nandito lang naman ako.

Kahit na tayo'y magkalayo
aking ramdam parin
ang iyong yakap sa gabi.
Ang mga araw na tayo ay
magkasama ay darating.

Wag kang bibitaw sa aking kamay
tayo ay maglalakbay patungo sa
dulo ng mundo'ng ito.
Ipikit mo ang iyong mata at
tayo ay matulog ng mahimbing.
ooh Kahit sa pagsapit ng gabi
aking na dirinig
ang boses mo na malambing.

Sa tuwing ika'y lumuluha
kahit magkalayo,
ramdam ko ang 'yong pag-iyak

Ang mga araw na tayo ay
magkasama ay darating na muli.

Ang iyong matamis na halik,
at ang mga araw na tayo ay
magkasama ay darating.

Wag kang bibitaw sa aking kamay
tayo ay maglalakbay patungo sa
dulo ng mundo'ng ito.
Ipikit mo ang iyong mata at

tayo ay matulog ng mahimbing.
ooh

Well that's just what I learned to my Filipino Professors taught us.

Tagalog, I know is a Dialect, which is spoken by a small group of people and sometimes not recorded, but Tagalog is widely spread known by many that's why its called lingua franca.Ā

Did you know Ilocano and Tagalog sometimes is not considered a dialect anymore, since a lot of people from the three islands understood it, due to Marcos Regime. The language of the Indigenous People are the only language that my Professors treat as dialects because the IP has not lost their culture and it was never influenced by the Spanish, American and Japanese, with the exception of "chavacano" of course.

As I said before, Filipino is still a young language, it's only just a century when Manuel L. Quezon declared it. Filipino dictionaries are not stable because of it anyway and, besides Filipino language has its rules that are sometimes so crazy I can't explain, the most known rule will be, "Kung ano ang bigkas, siya ring baybay." like "trak" for "truck".

Just sayin'~

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I love these songs and the fact that their all in another language I don't know a lot about yet interests me!!! But it's harder to actually understand the song without any translation...and with the translation I've learned that Ako might mean 'I/Me' and Asan 'Where' so yeah...I don't know much but that's my guess...

@ldrc_dcmp

Scarlett Acid You're actually correct :) Akin means mine, ikaw mesns you, and iyo means yours. Sa means in/on and ang means the. That's why sa'yo means in your blah blah blah. Tagalog is quite easy to understand and keep up the observations :)

@brambleberryproductions1235

Ricald OdecaĀ It's in my DNA so yeah XD I like talking to peopleĀ

@RealLifeKyurem

iambutterscotch :3 Is "sa'yo" not the the contraction of "sa iyo" which means "to you", not "your"? "Your" is "iyo(ng)" or "mo", right? Although Filipinos say "sa'yo ba'to?" to mean "is this yours?"... I wonder why...

@raiga9581

Filipinos tend to say "Sa'yo ba'to?" than "Sa iyo ba ito" because it's too formal and the first one is easier to say.
