1) EZI is the stage name of Esther Zynn (aka Esther Zyskind), a singer and actress who makes darkly emotive electronic-based pop. EZI emerged in 2017 with her single "Redemption."
Born Esther Zyskind on Long Island, New York, EZI was raised in a Russian immigrant family with parents who taught and played classical violin for a living. Interested in music from a young age, she began performing in school musicals around the age of 11. At age 16, she also began writing her own songs, inspired by artists like Carole King, Ingrid Michaelson, and Regina Spektor as well as Robyn and Florence + the Machine. Despite her love of music, she initially pursued acting, and by the time she was in her teens had nabbed small roles on All My Children, Inside Amy Schumer, and other shows.
Her big break came when she landed the role of Princess Astral on the Nickelodeon series The Other Kingdom, which ran for a season in 2016. During her time on the show, she continued to work on her music. She eventually signed to Steve Madden's 5Towns Records after a serendipitous meeting with the shoe designer mogul at one of his flagship stores in Manhattan. Adopting the name EZI to separate her acting career from her music, she released the emotive, electronic-tinged debut single "Redemption" in 2017.
2) Andrew Shpak aka ezi is born on 1985 in Dniepropetrovsk, Ukraine. Since that he managed to graduate from Dniepropetrovsk National University and to record a number of easy listening electronic music mixes.
Also was noticed in design, travels, taking photos. Gives musical preferences to okean el'zi, apparat, beirut, depeche mode, esthetic education, k chiko, mujuice, scsi-9, younger brother.
