‘’We were born and raised in the southern hemisphere, the land down-under… Australia. And in case you can’t tell, we are brothers.
Since before we can remember, music has been our life’s natural backdrop and soundtrack. Our Father was a music promoter turned entertainment manager which gave us a first hand introduction to a very eclectic mix of music and live shows.
In the early 90’s we moved to the USA after our Dad was offered a job in Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, we have traveled the world (together as well as separately) singing, performing and running various aspects of artists’ live shows.
It was out of experiences like these we began working on music together. We have spent the last several years writing and developing what we call our, ‘International-Pop-Rock’ sound.
Music has the peculiar ability to connect with the soul, and we want to use it to encourage… Life is a journey; full of highs and lows; triumphs and sorrows; these are the subjects we write about: Real human experiences. Whether that means sharing about honest struggles, asking unanswered questions, or talking about relationships, our hope is this music will inspire you and each song will relate to you, right where you are.’‘

Took your innocence and left a scar
Crossed lines and crushed your world
And tore your soul in two
Too young to knock your door
Tried to miss our civil war
Time left to comprehend
Let it echo
Is it waiting
To determine what we will become
You will be safe
You will be free
This won't decide who you're gonna be
You will be safe
You will be new
The cycle will break
The future will change
And you will be sane
Scared that your secret might come out
And you're gonna lose the life you got now
Caught in a loop and it winds you back
But anything can change
Take a chance now
'Cause it's waiting
Share the truth now
I knew a day would come, yeah
You will be safe
You will be free
This won't decide who you're gonna be
You will be safe
You will be new
The cycle will break
The future will change
And you will be sane
Scream it out loud
And watch all of the pieces crumble down
Oh yeah
Consign it to me now
'Cause darling that's how freedom can be found
And you will be safe
You will be free
And this won't decide who you're gonna be
You will be safe
You will be new
The cycle will break
The future will change
And you will be sane
You're sane
You will be sane
You're sane
You will be sane
The song "Sane" by for KING & COUNTRY is an empowering anthem about finding strength in the aftermath of trauma. The lyrics speak directly to someone who has been hurt, someone who has had their innocence taken away and their world turned upside down. The singer acknowledges the pain that the other person has gone through, but also offers hope and a way forward. "You will be safe, you will be free," he promises. "This won't decide who you're gonna be."
The chorus reinforces this message of hope and healing, with the lines "The cycle will break, the future will change, and you will be sane." The idea of breaking the cycle is particularly powerful, as it suggests that the person can not only heal themselves but also prevent the same trauma from happening to others in the future. The song encourages the listener to speak their truth and take a chance on healing, even if it feels scary or uncomfortable.
Overall, "Sane" is a deeply empathetic and uplifting song that acknowledges the pain of trauma while also offering a path to healing and resilience.
