1. A UK girlgroup formed in 2004. They like the 'Monkees' and 'S Club 7' before them, were stars of their own TV show called 'Totally Frank'. Series 2 was aired in the UK on Channel 4 & E4 in Summer 2006.

The group shared the same producers as 'Girls Aloud'. 'Frank' co-wrote their debut album 'Devil's Got Your Gold' (released in the UK on August 7th 2006) and also played all their own instruments. Their debut single 'I'm Not Shy' debuted at number 40 in the UK.

After poor single & album sales the girls parted company with their record label in late August and on 11th September 2006 they announced they had split up.

A realization coming up on you so suddenly, so gently through this song. For a brief moment you’re able to see a snapshot of your life. You can look at the polaroid with context. And for the length of this song be outside of all encompassing dread, doubt, and fear. You’ve fallen out of love with life, you need to get back.

Lynz Potts A normal but kinda self-centered guy joins a band of mentally ill and unconventional musicians and sees potential in them to be famous while also trying to gain the same inspiration that he thinks frank gets from his mental illness. So he exploits their issues to gain the band attention but at the cost of Frank's enjoyment of music and his emotional well being. In the end this destroys the band and in order to fix it he leaves and allows the band to play the music they want without having to pander to the masses. He also learns that Frank's mental illness isn't the reason he's a great musician. The two main morals of the film in the end are: 1.) create the art you want to create and not what others pressure you into making and 2.) the popular notion that pain and suffering is the greatest source of an artists inspiration is utter bullshit

I would say the song is very poetic and emotionally moving, which is what a good song should be. I wouldn't go as far as sublime, however. If you want to hear sublime listen to Pink Floyd's entire catalog. Start with 1967s Piper at the Gates of Dawn and work up to their last album with Roger Waters, 1983s The Final Cut. If you haven't already, that is. You can't just throw on a few of their best known songs and call it good though. I mean put on some good headphone, relax, and listened to each album from start to finish. I guarantee your mind will be so blown you'll open you eyes and be orbiting "Cirrus Minor". I love hard rock the most, but also a lot of R&B, Soul and Dance, both old and new, as well as classic rock, hair metal and Nu Wave and Nu Metal, Grunge, some Country and Classical, etc... But if you don't love this song and this movie we simply cannot be friends. I still love you all, though.

It is a very interesting verse because it shows that he is making the song on the go, and when he is listing the things that he loves and he says "I love your wall" he realizes that he could make a verse with "I love you all"
Brilliant. Awesome movie 10 out of 10.

As a musician I could never see myself struggling to find lyrics to a new song and, in a final bout of frustration over my loss for words, come up with "fiddley digits, itchy breeches". That line is a very daring addition to even an eccentric tune like this. It's pure genius, and it works brilliantly.
