What you feel inside
Is something wrong
Why did you leave last night
Is it all just a game
Oh, tell me why we can't be lovers
I do believe
That you and me
We are the only ones
And we were meant to be true
So, tell me why we can't be lovers
How could I be such a fool
I thought I already knew it all, but I know
I was totally wrong
Listen to your heartbeat
It will take you higher
Follow your emotions
I know you'll get stronger
Listen to your heartbeat
Your feeling will guide you
Hold on to devotion
I know it's inside you
How will I know
If you're fooling me
Maybe I'm wrong
But it seems, to be like
it's all just a game
And I just want us to be lovers
We had it all in our hands
Just like those all happy ends
I still don't know why
But we lost it somehow
One more chance to make a try
Nothing left to do for you and I
Listen to your heartbeat
The lyrics of Friends' song, "Listen to Your Heartbeat," is about two people in a relationship who are facing some problems. The singer of the song is trying to understand the feelings of his partner who left him last night, and he wants to know what is wrong with the relationship. He believes that they were meant to be together, but something is preventing them from being lovers. The lyrics suggest that the relationship has lost its way, and the singer wants his partner to listen to her heart and follow her emotions, as they will guide her in the right direction.
The song is an emotional ballad that is designed to connect with the listener on a deeper level. The singer's vulnerability and desire to understand his partner's emotions are relatable, and the chorus of "Listen to Your Heartbeat" is a powerful reminder to trust one's heart and feelings. Throughout the song, there is a sense of longing and regret for something that could have been great, but ultimately, it was lost due to miscommunication and lack of understanding.
Overall, the song is a beautiful reminder to listen to our hearts and trust our feelings, especially when it comes to our relationships. It is easy to get caught up in the drama and confusion of a relationship, but sometimes the best thing we can do is take a step back and listen to what our heart is telling us.
