I first heard this song when I was in Vegas with my ex-boyfriend.

I was rolling and was having a really bad trip.
He turned on some music and gave me his airpods.
When this song came on, it calmed me down drastically. I gave him the other side of the pod.
He walked me back to our hotel to meet his family and this song was playing on repeat the whole time.
He held my hand tightly and kept kissing me to ensure me that I was safe and we would be okay.

This song literally describes all my friendships, and most of my relationships, alot of my friends have used me even though I’ve loved them(not romantically) I treated alot of them as siblings which they could lean on me and ask for help. It got to the point where I was being used and partially bullied by them. They called me stupid and a pushover. This song perfectly describes my current break up where we had to unfortunately let each other go.
She had to let go of me, she knew she was hurting me by distancing herself from me and only treating me like a friend in fear of getting attached to me. She says i was too good for her, her past experience tells her that by staying with me she will hurt me more, letting me go was the best choice.
I truly loved her, so i gladly let go too. To this day we still talk to each other, not like lovers anymore but like how we used to talk when we first met. she was the best and i won't let our break up erase the great memories she gave me.

I just loved this song because of its melody alone. But this year, it became a song that brings me to despair. My partner admitted she's in love with another man, basically destroying the family she helped create. I'm a family man, grew up from a broken home, so all I've ever wanted is a complete family.

We're not married but I wanted to marry her. But it still felt like I'm going through divorce. Watching my 2 year old daughter sleep, clueless that her mom is happy with another man and might start a new family someday breaks me.

Every night I dream of a memory of the three of us bonding in the park. Their smiles and laughter was like heaven to me. It's one of my best memories of my family. Then I wake up and all I could see is the room's darkness. It's like a sledgehammer dropped on my chest realizing that it was only a memory and will never happen again. My heart would always sink everytime that thought passes through my mind.

I'm losing sleep, losing weight, couldn't focus. I feel so lost right now. I cry almost every night. My daughter is my only strength but it feels like I'm hanging by a thread.

I used to listen and sing along to this with friends for fun. Recently, I had a breakup, she decided to dump me since she moved. I feel like we could've pulled it off if she just had more hope in this relationship. It's been a little over a week since that day, and time is going so slow, I didn't know love could be like this.
