Pressure
heath antonio Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hey baby welcome to my home
Cali is not here so we’re all alone
I know we’ve tried this once before
But tonight will be the first time you roll.
Have you ever took a trip into the sky?
All around the moon and through the stars
The most amazing feeling in your life, good times, all in just one night.
I got this new batch on Friday
Transparent caps here drop this
Wash it down with the Actavis
The Sour will take us higher.

I know want to try this
Attracted to your nervous silence.
If it happens here it stays in my apartment
No sorrows, no laments.

Summer Nights in any weather
Please excuse my pressure.
But I guarantee pleasure.

Please excuse my pressure

Oh Oh

But I guarantee pleasure

Oh Oh

Please excuse my pressure
But I guarantee pleasure

Pleasure
Summer Nights, yes in any weather.

Overall Meaning

The song "Pressure" by Heath Antonio is a groovy, uptempo track about spending a summer night with someone and feeling the pressure to live up to certain expectations. The lyrics convey a sense of anticipation, as the singer welcomes someone to their home, indicating that they have tried to connect before, but this time will be different. The invitation to take a trip into the sky is likely a reference to using drugs, as the next verse mentions a new batch that was acquired on Friday. The line, "If it happens here it stays in my apartment, no sorrows, no laments," suggests a level of discretion, possibly due to the illicit nature of what is happening.

The chorus, "Please excuse my pressure, but I guarantee pleasure," seems to be a reassurance to the other person that they will enjoy what is about to happen. The pressure mentioned in the lyrics could refer to the pressure to perform sexually or to live up to expectations related to drug use. The line "summer nights in any weather" hints at the idea that this could be a temporary fling, something fleeting and dependent on the current season.

Overall, the song "Pressure" is a catchy, danceable track that hints at some deeper themes related to expectations, pressure, and pleasure.

Interview is awesome thus far, but the background music is too loud and extraordinarily distracting.

@DirtKiller

Music noted.

@SpeedySpears

Agreed its too loud and competing for attention with the interviewers. I think it would be fine but maybe at 25% of current volume. Or just have it for the intro and outro of the interview.

@ney.j_

Just intro and outdo for the live of god please turn the music off during the interview completely ruined it I was waiting for it to fade out the whole time and it just kept going
