With his first release under Internet Money for “cutthroat,” Iann worked with producer Nick Mira who has produced for artists such as Juice WRLD, XXXTENTACION and Lil Skies. He has worked with artists such as Bernard Jabs and PnB Rock on his tracks “molly” and “romance361” respectively.
Iann quickly gained attention in early 2019, with him signing to TenThousand Projects in the following April.

this album makes me feel like no other music ever has. i have a connection with music and this album just made that connection a whole lot stronger.
whenever i get this album playing i am usually laying down in bed with my laptop watching the lyrics pass by on spotify.
sometimes i find myself laying there listening and starting to panic about ''relapsing'' on the bad depressive episodes that i unfortunately experienced last year and am ''recovering'' this album almost feels like iann knew in his mind that some of his beloved fans were having a hard time and was working so hard to make these songs while the other impatient fans that told him to 'hurry up' and just put extra pressure and stress on him. when really behind the scenes he was struggling and i dont know if its because i am overly empathetic towards people but i could sense that something was up.
my gut is giving me a thought that it was the fans who stayed by his side no matter how hard it got, it was the fans who asked HOW the album was going, it was the fans who stayed up till 3am worried sick about him and the drugs etc, it was the fans who send weekly messages asking how hes going and how he feels about all the mess in the world that happened, it was the fans who took a whole hour of their day or sleep to write a whole damn essay about how he has impacted them and telling him all about their struggles, asking how he is doing and reminding him a million times how loved he is, its the fans who put him first instead of other things that probably were super important, its the fans that are hurting so bad on the inside but always make sure to put their angel first before themselves as some find that comforting and a special time to really take a break and release all those thoughts and feelings into one long message that they end up sending even though they know he most likely wont see it and end up deleting the message the next day as it just sounds stupid all of a sudden.
it is the fans who really care about iann and his feelings even if it means they put their feelings aside to be there for him who need this album the most.
that is all based of my experience with this journey i hope i have spoken for others that have had a similar experience and love iann just as much as i do.
this album has truly made me let go and release all negative energy in my mind and know its going to be better often times i will be laying in bed crying and really feeling the music and hearing in ianns voice that its going to be ok and by me breaking down to most songs on here having a good cry doesn't mean the album is bad and making me cry its simply tears of happiness, healing, anger, worry and relief all coming together and i allow myself to feel each feeling as it passes down my cheek into a tear and after all the tears and feelings have passed i am not left feeling weak or stuck but a feeling of freedom and knowing that its all ok.
thats what this music does for me and which normally after a breakdown you often feel stuck and lost but this is a breakdown of relief and letting the music pass through my body making me feel just free of all the bad thoughts and weight of depression taking the life out of me but a feeling of pure bliss and tears at the same time.
it took about 2 hours to write this and i am exhausted asf so i am going to bed now feeling good knowing i just got all this out.
And thankyou to our beloved iann who made such incredible music for us all to access and enjoy.
we love you, i love you and cant wait for whats to come on this journey of 'on to better things'
