This is one of the most angelic versions I've ever heard. I've lost about 1/3 of family by middle age. This song was their individual favorites.

I miss my sister just now, especially when it's the holidays. I guess I just needed to feel close to her. Life is so much different now without her.

We've played it at her funeral, almost all of them, in church. I was able to hold it together until they played the hymns, especially with this and Ave Maria. There's a few more.

Last time, I cried so hard that I was being held up because my emotional state was destroyed and then church music has always brought me tears for some reason.

I may not be a Christian person for the most part anymore, but I still want these played for me when I go.

I wish I could tell you how hugely important this song has been to me. Both my parents died and my husband left me all in a time period of 6 months. I was battling crippling anxiety and fighting it and fighting God. Finally, I just told him, Lord if you want me to have anxiety, I'll have it. Just don't leave me. I felt his peace, and my life began to turn around.
