The song "Look At Me" by Lil Wayne featuring Jazze Pha is a braggadocious track in which Wayne boasts about his wealth, fame, and charm. The lyrics repeat the phrase "look at me" as a form of self-aggrandizement, inviting listeners to recognize his lavish lifestyle, sexual prowess, and extravagant accessories, such as the bright thing on his hand and the 28-inch Birdmans. Wayne describes himself as a hot boy from a trill hood who enjoys smoking and riding his bike with skinnies and ill hoodie. He also claims to be Birdman Junior while acknowledging his own success, evident in the fact that he is the only Cash Money artist who remained loyal to the label.
Wayne's verses in "Look At Me" are marked by his signature flow, which includes clever punchlines and multisyllabic rhymes. He switches between different topics, from his style to his slang, from his cars to his connect, and from his haters to his girls. Jazze Pha's chorus adds a catchy melody to the song, which features a sample from Betty Wright's "Hillary". The overall message of "Look At Me" is a celebration of Wayne's status as a hip hop superstar, who enjoys exhibiting his success in front of his haters and admirers alike.
